The subject of this article is part of an MCU franchise story that has been officially deemed to be non-canonical to the primary continuity of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Its events instead occur in another reality within the Multiverse. This universe is designated by the Marvel Cinematic Universe Wiki as the "Fortified Ten Rings Base Universe".

The Attack on the Ten Rings Base was an attempt by Tony Stark to identify the source of the Ten Rings' access to Stark Industries/Fortified Ten Rings Base.

Tony Stark was kidnapped by the Ten Rings, who he realized were using weapons that were developed by his company, Stark Industries. Stark developed a suit of armor and used it to escape the Ten Rings Base. He was found by James Rhodes and brought home, where he built a new armor and became determined to find the source of the Ten Rings' Stark Industries weapons. The Ten Rings then took control of the area where Stark as found.[1]

Tony Stark flew to Afghanistan and approached the Ten Rings Base, fighting through the base's defenses as they attacked him. He flew over the several walls fortifying the base and destroyed several turrets and laser canons. The Ten Rings began attacking with several tanks, but Stark destroyed them as well. However, the information was not there.[1]

Aftermath[]

J.A.R.V.I.S. suggested to Tony Stark that Stark was motivated by revenge, though Stark refused the notion. He went to a tundra area and fought the Ten Rings there, destroying their helicopters and learning that someone within Stark Industries sold the company's weapons to the Ten Rings. He tasked Pepper Potts with finding out who and began chasing Raza Hamidmi al-Wazar. Stark and Potts independently discovered that Obadiah Stane was responsible for the selling of the weapons, leading to a fight which Stark won, killing Stane.[1]
