The Attack on the HYDRA U-Base was a mission undertaken by Captain America where he and the Howling Commandos infiltrated one of HYDRA's bases in Europe. There, they found out that the staff had disappeared and a monster was running rampant, but it turned out that the staff had been transformed into the monster, so Captain America set to help them.
