General Dox calls a meeting at the War Room

The death of the leader of the Time Variance Authority, He Who Remains at the hands of Sylvie Laufeydottir, and the subsequent reveal that the employees of the TVA were variants extracted from different timelines through Loki's findings, made the organization to allow the Sacred Timeline to wildly branch out while the TVA refused to prune the branches as it had done before. Worried over the dangers of the branches she had been told by the Time-Keepers, General Dox summoned a meeting at the War Room, with Judge Gamble, Hunter X-05, Hunter D-90, Mobius M. Mobius, and Hunter B-15 to come to a decision on how to go foward, with Dox wanting to continue the old ways the TVA held.

Sylvie enchants Brad

Despite Dox's adamancy over the issue, B-15 was able to convince Gamble to change how the TVA worked, much to Dox's anger. In spite of Gamble's decision, Dox decided to continue to work as the Time-Keepers decreed, and, alongside X-05, gathered a group of Minutemen to go out to the new timelines and prune them.[1] However, while X-05 sought out Laufeydottir to make sure she would be wiped out too, he decided to seek out his original life on the Sacred Timeline as the actor Brad Wolfe. Eventually though, Loki and Mobius caught him to help track Sylvie, who enchanted Wolfe, which led to them learning of Dox's plan and current hideout. Realizing the plan, Sylvie kicked Wolfe back to the TVA office before the group used Sylvie's TemPad to travel to Dox's hideout.[2]

Brad Thrown Through TimeDoor

Brad is thrown back to the TVA

As Hunter B-15 monitored the Timelines alongside the analysts, the main monitor began to show some of the branches being destroyed as Casey reported that multiple targets were appearing on the branches. B-15 told Casey that they needed to know where the attack came from. However, at that moment a Timedoor opened up and Brad Wolfe was thrown from it onto the ground before the door closed. As two Minutemen grabbed Wolfe to be taken back to his cell, B-15 asked Mobius over communications happened. Mobius reported that Dox wasn't only looking for Sylvie but was planning on pruning all the branches. In disbelief, B-15 reported that Dox was doing it at the moment and that she would kill all the inhabitants on the branches, as she told the analyst to keep track of them.

Meanwhile, Sylvie, Loki, and Mobius arrived at the station Dox was at and hid from the Minutemen's sight. As they watched the Minutemen, Mobius asked what they were doing to the Timedoors as they went in and out of them. Sylvie pointed out how that they appeared to be connected to a machine that held multiple TemPads. Mobius thought out loud that was why Hunter X-05's was modified.

Hunter B-15 Pruned Timelines

Meanwhile at the TVA, Hunter B-15 was alerted by an analyst that Dox's troop had pruned 30 percent of the branches, and asked if Mobius was on the ground yet. B-15 contacted Mobius to tell him that Dox's men had begun to prune some of the branches and to take Dox down now. Loki noted how many of the Minutemen had reset charges, which Sylvie explained that that was how they've bombed the timelines and used the TemPad device to arrive, which Mobius identified as their primary target.

Dox Sees Enemies

Dox alerts her Minutemen about their attackers

With their target set, Loki told the others that he would distract the Minutemen before he ran to a Hunter and threw him into another. Meanwhile, Sylvie let loose a giant magic blast to close some of the Timedoors, which alerted Dox. Dox alerted the Minutemen that their mission was compromised and to set off what they could, as a small group quickly armed themselves with Reset Charges and ran to the Timedoors. At the TVA Office, B-15 mulled how there needed to be a way to stop this and asked Casey if there was a way to disarm them. He told her that it was possible to track them, however, there were too many, and he went off to call O.B.

Mobius and Sylvie

Mobius and Sylvie disengage Dox's station.

Meanwhile, Loki forced a Hunter onto the ground before shooting a magical blast of energy as another Hunter came up to him to deal with them both. At the same time, Sylvie used her sword to cut down the Minutemen she encountered and threw one of the TemPad technicians away while Mobius grabbed one of the fallen Hunter's Time Sticks. As Dox realized that it was futile to continue to fight the group, she called out to what remained of the group to try to finish the mission now. However, Sylvie and Mobius reached one of her stations and as Sylvie forced the technicians away, Mobius used the Time Stick to prune the TemPad devices.

Loki and Sylvie knock out all of Dox's Loyalists

Still fighting the rest of the Minutemen, Loki used his telekinesis to throw a Time Stick at one of Dox's Loyalists, which pruned him. Loki ran to a Timedoor and pulled another Loyalist towards him to knock him out. Eventually, he caught up with Sylvie and Mobius in front of Dox's station with the rest of the Loyalists. With them cornered but still standing, Loki took Sylvie's hand to combine their magic blast, with Sylvie telling Loki not to overthink them holding hands, before they unleashed a large blast to incapacitate Dox and her men and close all of the remaining Timedoors.[2]

Aftermath[]

Dox Arrested

Dox and her loyalists are arrested

With Dox and her Loyalists defeated, Hunter B-15 had her and the rogue Minutemen locked up at the TVA. As they escorted them away, Mobius M. Mobius, with Dox restrained asked one of the Minutemen if that was all of them. The Minutemen said that they had everyone who hadn't escaped. Hunter B-15 then contacted Mobius to tell him to come back to the office to see something, with Mobius urged Loki to come with him.

Pruning Timelines

Dox and her loyalists pruned most of the Timeline branches.

As Loki returned to the TVA, he was joined by Sylvie before the Timedoor closed behind her. Loki then joined as Mobius and B-15 watched in horror as they watched the monitor showed a majority of the timeline branches were erased from results of Dox's actions which left only 802 branches. Sorrowful, B-15 stated that those branches were people and lives who had been exterminated as a result from the pruned branches.

Timeline Loc

Ravonna Renslayer is found.

As the mortified group watched on, Casey was alerted by a monitor that it had picked up Ravonna Renslayer's TemPad, a former TVA worker who had gone rogue, and alerted the rest of the news. Loki made his way to Sylvie who bitterly asked if that was the best he and the TVA could do now. As he tried to stick up for the group, Loki told her that there was nothing they could do, which Sylvie mocked. She then declared that the TVA was the problem from its broken rotten state from when He Who Remains was in charge. Sylvie decided to head back home through her TemPad, and while Loki tried to convince her to stay, she had already closed her Timedoor.[2]
