The Attack on Stark Industries Headquarters was a failed attempt by the Maggia to steal Stark Industries weapons.

Having been kidnapped by the Ten Rings, Tony Stark shut down all weapons manufacturing at Stark Industries. As a result, the company canceled a multi-billion dollar deal with the Maggia, angering them.

Ambush

Attempting to get the weapons they were promised, the Maggia attacked Stark Industries. Pepper Potts was one of the first attacked and called Iron Man to help. Iron Man flew around Los Angeles, taking down many Maggia personel. Once they ran out of drop ships, they started hijacking Stark Industries' ships. Eventually, Stark chased the rest of them away.

Aftermath

Tony Stark found out there were casualties, angering him. He then ran inside to find Obadiah Stane helping Pepper Potts onto her feet. Stane was angry at Stark's lack of presence during the attack. Stark said that he had a solution, which was to destroy their inventory so nobody could even get weapons if they tried. This really angered Stane. Stark then vowed to track down the Maggia and end them.
