The Hand approached Philip Cabroni and asked him to write a matrix with which to encode a ledger detailing their business dealings. They offered him a substantial fee, and he agreed. Later, the ledger was stolen by Matt Murdock and Elektra Natchios, who was unabled to read the ledger because of Cabroni's code. Elektra managed to find Cabroni and planned an attack on him to decode ledger. She called Murdock and informed him about attack.
Elektra and Daredevil managed to infiltrate into Philip Cabroni's Apartment. They threatened him with bodily harm if he didn't decode a ledger. At first he refused, fearing what the Hand would do to him if they found out. After Daredevil held him against a glass window and began to break the glass, he relented. He showed the two the matrix he used to encode the ledger and suggested that they decipher it with it, but Daredevil insisted that Cabroni decipher it himself. He did, and told the two that it detailed weekly shipments, going as far as telling them that a shipment at was scheduled for that very night. He gave them the location of the shipment. Before leaving, Daredevil warned Cabroni to find better business associates before Elektra knocked him unconscious.
Arriving at the Bay Ridge Rail Yard, Elektra and Daredevil and he noted that he had once found the Hand were transporting the Black Sky. Using his own heightened senses, Daredevil was able to determine one car which had filled up. Elektra decided that they should open it. The pair then opened the boxcar, only to discover that it was actually just filled to the brim with dirt. At that moment, members of Yakuza appeared at the location to find intruders. Using the element of surprise, they attacked Yakuza and defeated them.
