The Attack on Falligar the Behemoth was an attack orchestrated by Gorr the God Butcher to kill Falligar the Behemoth.
Background[]
Gorr's encounter with his deity, Rapu, who mocked his and his deceased daughter's faith, proved to be his undoing, as Gorr claimed the Necrosword for himself, and made a vow to kill all gods, starting with Rapu himself. Gorr embarked on a quest to search and kill any god he came across, and headed to Falligar to confront Falligar the Behemoth.
Sif learned about Gorr the God Butcher and sought to stop him from his murder spree of gods. She and Falligar teamed up and together tracked him down to Falligar.[2]
Attack[]
Sif's transmission for help
Gorr the God Butcher eventually arrived to kill Falligar the Behemoth with his skills and Shadow Monsters. During the battle, Sif was able to send a quick transmission to the Guardians of the Galaxy and Thor asking for help. Eventually, Gorr would slice the non-deity Sif's arm off in the battle, being left to die, and Falligar the Behemoth would then be killed as well as some of his disciples, with Gorr simply leaving to confront Sif's people and fellow gods, the Asgardians on Earth.[2]
Aftermath[]
Thor would arrive and find Sif still alive but missing an arm. She asked him to let her die and go to Valhalla, Thor pointed out that warriors only go to Valhalla if they died during not after the battle, so she let him take her to get medical attention. Sif would be given a metal stump to help her remaining arm.
Sif training on New Asgard
Gorr would continue his killing spree, targeting New Asgard next, which prompted Thor to make a team of his friends to take him down, which eventually they would by convincing him to use his wish to Eternity to revive his daughter instead of destroying all gods.[2]
