The Attack on A.I.M. Headquarters was Tony Stark's final mission to defeat A.I.M..

A.I.M. makes an attempt at nuclear energy
Trying to destroy A.I.M.'s mission to get a power source, Iron Man started taking down their bases and stopping their attempts to do so. Eventually, James Rhodes had to intervene.[1]
Attack[]
- "Now that their assets are frozen, they've holed up."

With the help of James Rhodes, A.I.M.'s assets were frozen, causing them to burrow into their headquarters. Iron Man flew to the headquarters to take down A.I.M. while they were vulnerable. Arriving at the facility, Stark started attacking the MASER Accumulators, which allowed him to take down the shield protecting the base. Iron Man then destroyed the base.[1]
Aftermath[]
Iron Man battles Iron Monger

With A.I.M. finished, Iron Man instructed Pepper Potts to find Obadiah Stane while he and James Rhodes fixed his armor to battle Stane.[1]
