Rescue of Wakandan Hostages[]
Douglas Scott and Zanda took several people in Asunción hostage, including several Wakandan people. Scott received a significant amount of laundered gold and planned to receive more as ransom money, and Zanda expressed her desire to use Vibranium bullets.
T'Challa and Okoye arrived in Asunción to rescue the hostages and tracked them down using the hostages' Kimoyo Beads. They broke into the building where the hostages were being held and fought through several guards. Scott told Zanda to fight Okoye, but Zanda insisted on fighting T'Challa while Okoye approached the hostages. Zanda shot T'Challa with a Vibranium bullet, hurting him. T'Challa stopped Zanda from shooting a hostage and continued fighting her, knocking the gun out of her hand. While the rest of the group went to get their hostages, Zanda insisted on going after T'Challa.
Okoye told the hostages to run while she fought Scott. The hostages ran outside and saw the police while Okoye continued to fight Scott and Zanda admired her technique. Zanda held Okoye at gunpoint when the police entered. Zanda and Scott fled, and Okoye prepared to pursue them, but T'Challa stopped her. The Wakandans entered their plane and followed Zanda and Scott through Asunción to a pier, where they were planning to escape with their crew. T'Challa and Okoye fought through several guards and confronted Zanda and Scott, defeating the pair. T'Challa and Okoye then returned to Wakanda.[1]
