The Assassination of Arthur Harrow was a murder planned by Khonshu and executed by Jake Lockley to get rid of both Ammit and Arthur Harrow once and for all, bringing Conspiracy to Release Ammit to an end.

Finally succeeding in liberating Ammit from her imprisonment, Arthur Harrow was chosen by her as the next Avatar to bestow her judgement upon humanity. Meanwhile, Layla El-Faouly liberated Khonshu from his ushabti, but refused to become his Avatar and stated that Ammit should be stopped through different means. Khonshu then confronted Ammit by himself, while the Disciples of Ammit were searching for El-Faouly. Although Ammit was too strong for Khonshu to handle, he sensed that Marc Spector was back in the realm of living and possessed him again.

As both Spector and Steven Grant clarified that after Ammit's defeat, Khonshu would let him go, Moon Knight headed to Cairo for the final battle. As Moon Knight and El-Faouly confronted Harrow and his disciples, Khonshu engaged in the fight with Ammit on a colossal level. Both Harrow and Ammit proved themselves to be a challenge, Spector suddenly switched to Jake Lockley and brutally took out both Harrow and his men. Spector and El-Faouly then used an ancient incantation to trap Ammit inside Harrow's body, while Khonshu told Spector that he must die, so Ammit would never come back. Spector refused to obey the order and claimed that his part of a deal was done, so Khonshu must let him go, which he begrudgingly did.

Arthur Harrow was administrated into the Sienkiewicz Psychiatric Hospital, however, Khonshu believed that he could not be allowed to roam free and give Ammit a chance to return again. As Marc Spector switched to his other alter, Jake Lockley, Khonshu ordered him to arrive at the hospital and get Harrow out of there. Lockley killed a reception worker, quickly removed Harrow from the facility and placed him inside his limo, where Harrow saw Khonshu waiting for him. Harrow was certain that without an Avatar, Khonshu had no means to do him any harm, but Khonshu was rather indifferent about that.

He then revealed to Harrow that he had no intentions to make Layla El-Faouly his next Avatar, as Spector had no idea how broken his mind truly was. Khonshu then introduced Lockley, who then shot Harrow with a silenced pistol and drove away from the hospital.
