The Arrest of Obadiah Stane was a leaking of information by Erik Killmonger that incriminated Obadiah Stane, leading to his arrest.

Obadiah Stane started getting greedy and wanted to run Stark Industries by himself, without Tony Stark. Stane contacted the Ten Rings and ordered them to kill Tony Stark in Afghanistan. However, Erik Killmonger found out about this plan while on a deep cover operation within the Ten Rings and decided to save Stark in order to gain his trust.[1]

At a press conference to talk about the attack, Erik Killmonger stepped forward and started showing infromation on the screen to show that Obadiah Stane organized the attack. Tony Stark looked at his mentor in disgust before the police surrounded Stane. Not giving up without a fight, Stane pushed the police away before Happy Hogan came in from the side and punched Stane, knocking him out.[1]

Erik Killmonger starts Project Liberator

Erik Killmonger used this opportunity to gain the trust of Tony Stark, and Stark declared Killmonger his COO. With this trust, the two began to build drones under Killmonger's designs. Killmonger soon used these to kill Stark, then go to Wakanda and gain the trust of King T'Chaka. Once this happened, he had the army infiltrate Wakanda with the drones. Killmonger fought alongside the Wakandans and destroyed his own drones to gain more of the Wakandans trust and become the Black Panther.[1]
