The Arrest of Miles Lydon was a S.H.I.E.L.D. mission in order to track and capture the hacker responsible for the leaking of Chan Ho Yin's identity and whereabouts.

Chan Ho Yin was kidnapped by Raina. Chan's supervisor, Quan Chen, told them that they traced the leaker of his location back to a hacker of the Rising Tide. Skye traced the hack to Miles Lydon in Austin, Texas.[3]

Coulson's Team went to Austin, Texas to capture Lydon. They checked out the cafe where Lydon logged in, but the cashier said she had not seen him for over a week. Ward and Lydon spotted each other, and Lydon fleed in a silver Jetta. Coulson tried to intercept him in a S.H.I.E.L.D. SUV but Lydon lost him by hacking into the nearby traffic system and messing with the lights, causing mass confusion and sudden traffic.
Lydon arrived at his apartment to see Skye waiting for him, mad at him for hacking into S.H.I.E.L.D and releasing the information. Lydon did not answer her questions, but claimed that he missed her, and the two had a romantic reunion. Skye and Lydon were caught by May, who had followed her on Coulson's orders, detaining the two for interrogation.[3]

The team returned to the Bus where Skye tried to explain herself. The team found Chan Ho Yin and engaged him. Miles Lydon had to hack into the building and change the vent's direcyion to get the smoke and fire out of the facility. Afterwards, both Lydon and Skye were given bracelets that prohibit them from accessing computers. Phil Coulson yelled at Skye and asked her the real reason why she was at S.H.I.E.L.D.. Skye revealed that she joined the Rising Tide and everything so that she could find details on her parents. The only trace of them was redacted files by S.H.I.E.L.D.. Coulson vowed to help her find answers.[3]
