Biography[]
Working for Cassandra Nova[]
Philippa Sontag was born a mutant with the ability to generate shockwaves, earning her the name Arclight. Arclight was banished to the Void where she became one of Cassandra Nova's henchmen. Arclight witnessed as Human Torch, Deadpool, Wolverine were brought to their compound and greeted by Nova, however, Deadpool and Wolverine escaped when Alioth arrived.
When the Resistance commenced an ambush on the compound, Arclight and Callisto witnessed them arrive from above. They moved to the ground and stood alongside the rest of Nova's henchmen and prepared for the fight. The two sides charged at each other, and Arclight fought against Gambit, blasting him with a shockwave. Arclight lasted until the end of the battle, where she began using a gun, but she was soon killed by X-23.[3]
