- "You know, uh... You know a little about me, Anthony?"
"A little bit, yeah."
"A little bit, right. Oh, boy. Uh... You know, I appreciate you... You gave me a minute like this. It's a... It's an... It's an honor to meet you." - ―Frank Castle and Anthony Petruccio[src]
Anthony Petruccio was raised in New Jersey before he moved to New York City and joined the New York City Police Department. In 2027, Petruccio was one of many corrupt NYPD officers who idolized Frank Castle and had been added into Mayor Wilson Fisk's Anti-Vigilante Task Force. Petruccio was stationed as a guard at Wilson Fisk's Dungeon in Red Hook Pier, Brooklyn, where many people were imprisoned in cages, including Castle.

Petruccio is attacked by Frank Castle
One day, while patrolling the dungeon, Petruccio was called out to by Castle, who asked for his name. Upon telling his idol his name, Castle deemed it to be a strong name before asking where Petruccio was from. Petruccio responded that he was from New Jersey, and asked Castle if he was from there too when Castle responded positively, to which Castle claimed that he was. He then asked Petruccio if he knew anything about him, to which Petruccio replied that he knew a little about him. Castle thanked Petruccio for speaking with him, and reached his hand out through his cage bars. When Petruccio approached his idol and shook his hand, Castle broke his wrist and then pulled Petruccio's arm into the cage before snapping it. As Petruccio screamed, Castle took the keys from Petruccio and unlocked his restraints.[1]
