Behind the Scenes[]
Continuity[]
This book contains substantial contradictions with the events of the film. The book's narration describes Scott Lang as being an active criminal when he steals the Ant-Man Suit. However, in the film, Scott only attempts to rob the Pym Residence as a last resort after his attempts to honestly earn money to pay child support for Cassie Lang fail. Moreover, after using the Ant-Man Suit for the first time, Scott is excited by the suit's power and, although he is unsure what to use it for, he thinks about using it to both protect himself and help those in need. In the film, Scott is terrified after using the suit for the first time and immediately attempts to return the suit to the Pym Residence without making any further attempts to use it. Therefore, this book has been deemed non-canon as per our Canon Policy.
