The Angry Guard was a member of the Nova Corps stationed at the Kyln.
Biography[]
Working at the Kyln[]
The Angry Guard was an operative of the Nova Corps assigned as a guard at the Kyln. He escorted Gamora, Peter Quill, Rocket, and Groot through the prison upon their arrival. The Angry Guard processed Quill, having him stripped and washed. Quill attempted to attack the guard, but was stopped by Kyln Hoverbots.
The Angry Guard stood by as Moloka Dar and a few other inmates took Gamora, planning to kill her. Instead of stopping them, he only advised the inmates to take Gamora to the showers, as it would be easier to clean up her blood there, angering Gamora.
The next day, the new inmates staged a prison escape. The Angry Guard attempted to stop Gamora but was overpowered. Needing a Security Band for their escape plan, Gamora broke the guard's arm and forcefully removed his band, killing him in the process.[1]
