"Thank you, Captain. Pretty sure, this guy's a war criminal now, well, whatever. I have to show you this video; it's required by the state. Let's do it."
―Andre Wilson[src]

Andre Wilson is a physical education teacher at Midtown School of Science and Technology.

Captain America's Fitness Challenge[]

"Looking good, Parker."

Captain America's Fitness Challenge (2)

Wilson at gym class

By 2016, Wilson worked as a physical education teacher at Midtown School of Science and Technology. During the classes he led, he set the Captain America's Fitness Challenge for his students to participate, although he commented that Steve Rogers was now considered a criminal due to the Sokovia Accords. He also commended Peter Parker's physical aptitudes, unaware of his alter ego.[4]

Detention[]

SMH Advice 4

Wilson questions Michelle Jones

"Why are you here? You don't even have detention."
"Oh, I know. I just like coming here to sketch people in crisis."
―Andre Wilson and Michelle Jones[src]

Wilson also oversaw students who were given detention at his school, where he also played video recordings of Captain America scolding the students, although this task clearly bored Wilson. During one of those detention sessions, Wilson saw Peter Parker leave the classroom and told him to come back, albeit in a very disillusioned way. He then asked Michelle Jones why she was there as she did not have detention, only to be told that she enjoyed drawing people in crisis just like Wilson himself.[4]

Blip[]

"I mean, it’s crazy. I was there. And then I wasn’t there. And then… I was there again. And people asking me “where’d you go?” But I didn’t go anywhere, man. I was just not there. And then I was there again. Sorry, what was the question?"
―Andre Wilson[src]

In 2018, Wilson was a victim of the Snap. Five years later, as a result of the Blip, he was restored to life. In 2024, in an interview with The Daily Bugle, Wilson was asked about the Blip, before getting confused about the following question.[1]

Spider-Man's Identity[]

"Peter, we would love to welcome you back to Midtown High, where we shape heroes!"
"Or murderers..."
"Stop it. It’s an honor to serve you, sir."
"It's not. Mysterio was right."
Julius Dell, Roger Harrington, and Andre Wilson[src]

That year, Wilson learned that Peter Parker was Spider-Man and became upset with his student, believing that Mysterio was innocent. Shortly after, he was again interviewed by The Daily Bugle, this time by his student Betty Brant, who asked him about Parker's athletic abilites in his classes.[5]

Peter's Teachers

Wilson rejects Peter Parker

When Parker returned to school, Wilson, standing alongside Julius Dell and Roger Harrington, rejected Parker calling him a murderer and that Mysterio was right. Harrington then showed Parker his display case and told him that they had made it, but Wilson corrected him saying only he had. As Wilson continued to state that Parker was wrong, Harrington told Parker that Wilson was a conspiracy theorist and not to listen to him.

Later that year, Wilson, along with the rest of the world, had his memory of Parker erased from his mind.[6]
