The "Andre Deschaine's Torture" Universe, referred to as Jam Session in The Esplanade, is an alternate reality mimicking much of the Tandy Bowen Drug Addict Universe where D'Spayre warped reality around the events to confuse Tandy Bowen.

Tandy Bowen became a drug addict and began a scam in which she pretended to be asking people to sign a petition about shore birds so that she could steal their wallets. Mikayla Bell and Liam Walsh began dating. While walking to a diner with Bell, Walsh was approached by Bowen, who asked if he had dropped something. Bell asked what was happening, and Bowen, who had gotten confused as Andre Deschaine was warping reality around her, confessed to flirting with Bowen out of hopes of distracting him. Bowen saw Deschaine behind them and asked if Bell and Walsh did as well, but neither of them could see Deschaine. Bell noticed that Bowen suddenly had Walsh's wallet in her hand and reached out to take it back. However, Bowen suddenly had a dagger in her hand, prompting Bell to call for the police. Bowen ran away as the police officers chased her.[1]
