Biography[]
Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.[]
Saving Charles Hinton[]
Anderson worked mainly in the Playground; when the senior agents were not available, Anderson worked beside the Director, taking care of his needs. When the team tried to save Charles Hinton's life, Coulson searched the web for different Charles in hopes of finding Hinton. Anderson got a call, took it, then was given a tablet by Phil Coulson. When they got a hit on Hinton, Coulson told Anderson to get the team ready.
Later on, Daisy Johnson tried to walk Melinda May through how the fight was going to go to save Hinton. Johnson had seen the future after touching Hinton. Anderson acted as an enemy to help May practice. She fake knocked him out, but Johnson said it wasn't good enough. Anderson returned to work and found the building that was holding Hinton. He alerted the team.[1]
Sent by Phil Coulson[]
Agent Anderson was sent to the medical laboratories by Phil Coulson to tell Alphonso Mackenzie, Daisy Johnson, Leo Fitz, and Jemma Simmons that the director wanted to have a meeting with his senior agents.[2]
Daisy Johnson's Betrayal[]
When Daisy Johnson was mind controlled by Hive, she used her powers to nearly collapse the Playground. Afterwards, Anderson stood behind Phil Coulson as he addressed the situation to the team. He reminded them that Johnson was still one of theirs and should not be shot at.[3] They finally got a location on Johnson, Anderson did more research and found many other Inhumans in the area, but no sign of Hive.[4]
New Director[]
S.H.I.E.L.D. had finally defeated Hive, leading to the death of Lincoln Campbell. Phil Coulson stepped down from directorship as well, leaving Jeffrey Mace. Anderson shadowed Mace now. He helped Yo-Yo Rodriguez to the living quarters, telling her Mace would be there shortly.[5] When the Watchdogs set off EMPs around the globe, Anderson witnessed Alphonso Mackenzie yelling at Burrows for worrying about the press reaction. Mace stuck up for Burrows saying that was his job.[6]
Later, Anderson was walking with Mace when Leo Fitz angrily marched to Mace. Fitz scolded Mace for assigning Jemma Simmons to go with Ellen Nadeer. Suddenly, Simmons returned and Anderson watched as Fitz and Simmons hugged.[7]
