After leaving the Red Room, Ana utilized her skills as a Black Widow to work as a paid assassin. She used the money she earned this way to pay for an expensive house located in a remote location among a mountain range.[1]
Home Invasion[]
In 2018, on a mission to free all of the Black Widows mind controlled by Dreykov, Yelena Belova and Sonya broke into Ana's house to free her, unaware that she was not under Dreykov's mind control. The Widows fought, and Belova attempted to use the Red Dust antidote on Ana to free her, but seeing as Ana was not mind controlled, Belova only managed to make Ana cough and stain her carpet, angering Ana. The three cleared up their misunderstanding, and sat down to explain Belova's mission. Belova excused herself to use the bathroom, but never returned as she was a victim of the Snap.[1]
Home to a Family[]
After the Snap, Ana decided to turn her life around, abandoning her career as an assassin to do legitimate work. During which she met a man who soon married and adopted a daughter with, and both of them moved into Ana's house with her.[1]
Yelena Belova's Return[]
In 2023, Yelena Belova suddenly reappeared in Ana's bathroom as the Blip occurred. Confused as to what had happened, Belova left the bathroom to find the house redecorated and Ana's new family. Ana tried to calm Belova down and explain that five years had passed since she walked into the bathroom. Belova decided she needed to go find her sister to let her know she was alright, asking for Ana's assistance in locating her.[1]
