The Ambush on the Golden Tigers was an attack on the members of the Golden Tigers orchestrated by Iron Fist.

Danny Rand honored the promise he made to Daredevil, wowing to protect New York City at night as a vigilante from all those who wished it harm. Ever since the Hand's defeat, a power vacuum was created and the two largest Triad Gangs, Yangsi Gonshi and Golden Tigers were fighting to fill the void left by the Hand. The threat of the gang war threatened Chinatown and Rand patrolled the streets every night to keep the peace.[2]

- "I might have considered such a compromise until the Tigers tried to rob an armored car moving our funds a few nights ago."

Iron Fist punching the Yangsi Gonshi's truck
One night, Hai-Qing Yang sent an armored truck to move their funds to another location. Yangsi Gonshi members covered as Mott Security members guarded truck and Yang's nephew was the driver of it. However, they were ambushed by Golden Tigers covered as Yin-Yang Won Ton Delivery Service. They quickly killed all Hatchet Men and took the car.
Before they could hijack the truck, they were attacked by Iron Fist who crashed it by Chi attack. Tigers left the cars to confront him but were promptly defeated. Rand wanted to interrogate one of them but left them to be arrested by the police.[2]

Hai-Qing Yang did not overlook the situation and death of his nephew. He sent two members to execute one of the Golden Tigers in broad daylight. Iron Fist managed to arrange a meeting with Yang. Iron Fist urged Yang to make peace and negotiate with the Tigers but he replied that it can't be stopped.[3]
