The Ambush on Jennifer Walters was a failed attempt by the Wrecking Crew to attack She-Hulk and get a sample of her blood for Intelligencia leader, Todd Phelps.
Background[]
Jennifer Walters was forced to reveal her Hulk-like powers, and become publicly known as "She-Hulk". She started to become the target of the embittered group the Intelligencia. Believing that Walters did not deserve her powers, and wanting them for himself, Intelligencia's admin, Todd Phelps hired a group of super weapon wielding criminals, the Wrecking Crew to ambush Walters and steal some of her blood for him.[1]

Jennifer Walters is attacked by Bulldozer
On her way home, Jennifer Walters was attacked by Piledriver and Bulldozer, and although she panicked at first, Walters then transformed into She-Hulk and shook Bulldozer off of her. Being joined by Wrecker and Thunderball, the Wrecking Crew prepared their enchanted construction tools, that they stole from an Asgardian construction site, for the fight. She-Hulk easily withstood their attacks, before Wrecker hit her in the head with his Enchanted Crowbar, apologizing immediately after.
Wrecking Crew flees from She-Hulk
Thunderball used her distraction to pierce her arm with the needle to get a sample of She-Hulk's blood, but it failed to pierce her thick skin. She-Hulk then fought her attackers off, so Wrecker told his crew to retreat, as the attack was a bad idea. He asked Thunderball if he managed to get a sample of her blood, but Thunderball replied that her skin was too thick for a needle, and Wrecker lamented that their boss would not be happy that they failed.[1]
