The Ambush at the Wakandan Outreach Center was a trap organized by Dora Milaje to thwart the French Armed Forces' attempt to raid the Wakandan Outreach Center in Mali and steal their vibranium.

Wakandan Outreach Center in Mali

Wakanda ended its isolation and revealed its true existence under King T'Challa's rule, who established outreach centers around the world to help humanity. T'Challa's death prompted many foreign nations to believe that the country was weakened, and wanting to obtain vibranium from themselves, attempted to attack these centers. A group of mercenaries under secret orders from the French government was ordered to attack an Outreach Center in Mali.

The Dora Milaje defend the Center

An employee of the Outreach Center noticed the CCTV cameras stopped working then the power went out, then all of a sudden, the door got breached by a group of French Armed Forces. They asked where the vibranium tools and who can access it, when they opened it, the Dora Milaje attacked and eventually captured them.

Okoye and the Dora Milaje brought the French soldiers to the United Nations summit in Geneva, and Queen Ramonda reminded the French Foreign Minister to not attack and steal Wakanda's resources again.
