The Ambush at The Rearview was a planned attack on Tony Stark by a group of mercenaries when he visited a local garage.
Background[]
Tony Stark had set up 5 dates in one night without realizing. After being notified by Pepper Potts, he went out to get his car fixed for the night.[1]
Ambush[]
At the mechanic place, Tony Stark met Mike Charles who began to work on his car. Suddenly, the two were attacked by mercenaries who followed Stark. They escaped out the back using a truck. As they were being chased, Stark called Pepper Potts and gave directions to Charles on where to drive. Charles protested that they were going away from Tony Stark's Mansion, which Stark replied saying to just listen. Charles took a right which brought them through a parade surrounded by cops. This was to notify the cops. He then brought them through another parade to lose their tail. Eventually they got to a bridge and went over it just before it opened up for a boat to go through. This left the mercenaries trapped. Stark then raced to his mansion, grabbed his Iron Man armor and took down the rest of them.[1]
Aftermath[]
Tony Stark was forced to cancel his dates because he had to get the rest of the mercenaries. So he gave Mike Charles a phone and told him to call his dates.[1]
