"You and Jemma watched that documentary I mentioned? Oh, yes! The one about the Amazon?"
Lance Hunter to Leo Fitz[src]

The Amazon Rainforest or Amazonia is a moist broadleaf tropical rainforest located in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela.

History[]

Search for a Cure[]

Some species of plants and flowers from Amazon Rainforest were covered in Amanda Kirchhoff 's Inventory of Rare and Endangered Tracheophyta of Amazônia, a book published by Rathburn University. While living in Porto Verde, Brazil, and searching for a cure for his gamma ray induced condition, Bruce Banner studied an Amazonian flower called Corablanca and hired Alves to search for it.[1]

Separating from the other Eternals, Druig travelled to the Amazon Rainforest where he established his compound, where he could live in peace, away from society. He lived there for years until he was visited by the Eternals who were there to try and get his help stoping Tiamut's Emergence. The compound was then attacked by the Deviants, who were fought off after killing Gilgamesh. Gilgamesh's funeral was then held at a nearby river.[2]
