Amatsu-Mikaboshi (Japanese: 天津甕星)[3] is the Japanese Goddess of the Dead and member of the Council of Godheads.

Council of Godheads[]

Amatsu-Mikaboshi was a god worshipped in Japan. She was the Goddess of the Dead and often attended meetings in Omnipotence City as a member of the Council of Godheads. She was present when Thor, Mighty Thor, Valkyrie, and Korg infiltrated the meeting. A fight broke out because of this ending in Zeus seemingly being killed.[4]

  • In the comics, Amatsu-Mikaboshi was a primordial being who embodied the void that existed before the universe began and was imprisoned in Yomi for all eternity.
    • He was also known to be an aspect of the cosmic entity, Oblivion.
  • In Japanese mythology, Amatsu-Mikaboshi was originally a rebellious Shinto god, possibly malevolent, who would not submit to the will of the other Amatsu-Kami.
