Alphonso Mackenzie is the son of John and Lilla Mackenzie, and the older brother of Ruben Mackenzie. Alphonso and Ruben were raised by their uncle Marcus after their parents were killed.

Biography[]

"Last semester, you got straight A's, you racked up the high score on Ms. Pac-Man... and you cried buckets when you read Where the Red Fern Grows."

Having lost his parents at a young age, Alphonso Mackenzie and his brother Ruben were raised by their uncle Marcus, who would notably picked them up from school. He had excellent grades in school and enjoyed playing video games and reading books.

Mackenzie was frequently visited by Deke Shaw, who would offer him and his brother school supplies and toys such as a drumming kit. During this time, Mackenzie got the high score on Ms. Pac-Man, cried while reading Where the Fern Grows, and received straight A's in school. In a visit the following semester, Shaw was actually accompanied by the adult version of Mackenzie, who gifted his younger self a small car model, and introduced himself as a friend of the Deke Squad.^[1]
