Georges Batroc Military Life[]
Georges Batroc moved to Algeria from France once he joined the French Foreign Legion, having attained the rank of Adjutant, equivalent to a Master Sergeant. He later went on to become an agent of the Direction Générale de la Sécurité Extérieure (DGSE) and a freelance pirate, mercenary and terrorist for hire.[1]

Georges Batroc was arrested by S.H.I.E.L.D. in a safe house in the city of Algiers, where he tried to hide following his failed hijacking of the Lemurian Star.[1] He was later freed by Sharon Carter.[2]
