• In the comics, Ajak was an archaeologist and a Siberian-born member of the sub-race of Eternals known as the Polar Eternals.
• Ajak is the seventh character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to be depicted as a different gender from their counterpart in the comics, following Jeri Hogarth, the Ancient One, Ghost, Mar-Vell, Morgan Stark, and Makkari.
