The Afghan National Police is the national police force of Afghanistan, serving as a single law enforcement agency all across the country.
During the Homeland Security mission in Afghanistan, Afghan National Police tasked Ahmad Zubair to work together with Dinah Madani. Investigated criminal activity in Kandahar, Zubair discovered that members of the United States Armed Forces were smuggling heroin from Kandahar to the United States of America.
Zubair informed Madani about his investigation and she promised him official protection for his testimony. However, Zubair was captured, tortured and killed by unknown soldiers before he could make a statement.
