- "This man, Ahmad Zubair of the Afghan National Police, discovered United States soldiers were trafficking heroin. And they killed him for it."
- ―Dinah Madani[src]
The Afghan National Police is the national police force of Afghanistan, serving as a single law enforcement agency all across the country.
History[]
During the Homeland Security mission in Afghanistan, Afghan National Police tasked Ahmad Zubair to work together with Dinah Madani. Investigated criminal activity in Kandahar, Zubair discovered that members of the United States Armed Forces were smuggling heroin from Kandahar to the United States of America.
Zubair informed Madani about his investigation and she promised him official protection for his testimony. However, Zubair was captured, tortured and killed by unknown soldiers before he could make a statement.[1]

Trivia[]
- Iron Man: Teen Novelization references soldiers from Afghanistan greeting Tony Stark as he arrives in their country. Both the teen novelization[2] and the book Iron Man refer to soldiers from Afghanistan attending the presentation of the Jericho mission.[3] However, these books are both set before the establishment of the Afghan National Police, so these soldiers would have been members of the Afghan National Army.
