Adventure into Fear is a cancelled group of Marvel Television series, focused on horror-themed characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Television Series[]

Helstrom (2020)[]

Season One (2020)[]

As the son and daughter of a mysterious and powerful serial killer, Helstrom follows Daimon and Ana Helstrom, and their complicated dynamic, as they track down the worst of humanity — each with their own attitude and skills.

Cancelled Television Series[]

Ghost Rider[]

Marvel's Ghost Rider centers on Robbie Reyes, the quintessential antihero, who lives on the Texas/Mexico border, consumed by hellfire and supernaturally bound to a demon. When he unleashes the Rider, Robbie brings vengeance for the innocents he encounters, but struggles controlling the power he wields.

Behind the Scenes[]

In an interview with Deadline, Jeph Loeb announced that the upcoming Ghost Rider and Helstrom TV series would be joined by 1 or 2 more interconnected horror shows on Hulu, under the banner of Adventure Into Fear.[1] Loeb stated that Ghost Rider would reference Robbie Reyes' role in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..[2]

On September 25, 2019, it was announced that Ghost Rider would not going forward, as the creative team had reached an impasse which could not be resolved,[3] though other Adventure Into Fear series were planned.[4]

When Marvel Television folded into Marvel Studios, all series in development were cancelled, with the exception of Helstrom.[5] On December 14, 2020, Helstrom was cancelled by Hulu after one season.[6]
