In the early 2000s, Adam Cooper was living marginalized in Los Angeles, when he was introduced to the Church of Gibborim. Cooper spent six months in the church, before he was invited by Leslie Dean to ascend to the rank of Ultra in a special Gibborim ceremony. Unaware that it was a sacrificial ritual held by PRIDE, Cooper agreed to participate in the ritual, where he was drugged and placed in the Dematerialization Box, sacrificing his life to Jonah.
