The Abduction at Rae's Restaurant was a kidnapping operation led by the Chronicom Enoch, whose intention was to send Phil Coulson and his team to the year 2091 in the hopes that they would find a way to avert the prophesied destruction of Earth.
Background[]
When a Chronicom anthropologist, Enoch, learned about the possible Destruction of Earth from Robin Hinton he resolved to act in order to prevent this cataclysm from ever happening. Enoch tracked down agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Phil Coulson, Melinda May, Daisy Johnson, Leo Fitz, Jemma Simmons, Alphonso Mackenzie and Elena Rodriguez, who he believed could prevent the event, to Rae's Restaurant and led group of soldiers to capture them.[2][3]

Soldiers under Enoch's command busted into Rae's Restaurant, where the agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. having dinner together after the defeat of Aida. Believing that Enoch and his men where members of the authorities sent to arrest them after the Attack on the S.H.I.E.L.D. International Inquiry as expected, Coulson calmly greeted them and joked over their dramatic entrance in the diner. Before he could finish the sentence, Enoch activated a device that emitted a high pitched sound and froze Coulson and all the agents in stasis.
Enoch then reminded his men that the "window" would have closed in less than two minutes, and then ordered them to take the agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. away, save for Fitz, about whom Enoch declared that he was not "on the list".[4][3]
Aftermath[]
Leo Fitz being put under arrest
Leo Fitz was captured by a team of soldiers, led by Lieutenants Evans and Lucas and transferred to Blue Raven Ridge facility. He was interrogated because he was suspected of having helped the other S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to escape.
Phil Coulson, Daisy Johnson, Melinda May, Jemma Simmons, Alphonso Mackenzie and Yo-Yo Rodriguez were brought to the Lighthouse in Lake Ontario, where the Time Di'Alla sent them to the year 2091.
With Lance Hunter's help, Fitz was able to escape, and together they tracked down Enoch to his residence. He explained he sent his friends into the future based on the visions received by Inhuman seer Robin Hinton, and brought Hunter and Fitz to a park to meet her.[2]
