- Jon Watts chose to feature A Flock of Seagulls during Spider-Man: Homecoming's 1980s-themed homecoming dance scene due to the heavy influence that the films of John Hughes had on the film.[1]
- "Space Age Love Song" was also featured in the 1991 film Career Opportunities, which starred Frank Whaley and Jennifer Connelly.
