Officer A. Kennedy is an officer of the River's End Police Department.

Biography[]

First Encounter With S.H.I.E.L.D.[]

While driving his police car Kennedy spotted a familiar van on the other side of the crossroad. He used his alarm to make the van stop and noticed it being driven by Alphonso Mackenzie and Phil Coulson. When asked if there was a problem Kennedy told Mackenzie to tell him. At first Mackenzie thought Kennedy was talking about his bruises. Kennedy told him that this was not the case, but that he was talking about the van. John Nickel had been trying to sell this van for months, and now with someone else driving the van Kennedy wondered if it was a clunker or not and how badly Mackenzie was fleeced on the deal. Mackenzie started laughing, telling Kennedy that he had been looking for a van like it for ages, and that the price was a steal. This surprised Kennedy, after which he wished Mackenzie and Coulson a great day.[1]

Holding Deke Shaw[]

Later that evening, following the arrest of a drunken Deke Shaw, Kennedy was sitting behind his desk at the police station. When Daisy Johnson entered the station to free Shaw, Kennedy listened to the conversation she had with C. Wellins. He eventually recognized Johnson as an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. contacted the military. In order to gain more information, Kennedy stopped Quake and Shaw from leaving the police station, telling them to fill in some paperwork. He also asked Quake for a number so he could reach her for a follow up. After giving the information Quake and Shaw left the police station.[1] When the military arrived Wellins told them that he did not recognize them, but that Kennedy, one of his officers, thought there was quite a resemblance.[2]
