Robin Hinton does one of her drawings as Melinda May, Leo Fitz, and Jemma Simmons talk in the Lighthouse. May explains that the population is barely holding on, Fitz says that the water filtration system and solar power are also failing, and Simmons explains that if they lose power they will lose climate control and begin to fall apart. May reminds them that Hinton said there is another way, involving a time machine, but Fitz insists it is useless, since time is fixed and they could end up wasting decades trying to work it out. Hinton hands May her drawing, which is of Zephyr One.[2]
As expected, the Kree arrive at the Lighthouse and take control of it, and the humans' survivors. Led by Kasius, the Kree Watch puts the population under their control.[2]
Rodriguez decides to face the Kree despite knowing the result of her actions
Melinda May decides that they have to accept the deal being offered by the Kree, which will give them the power generators and water filtration systems they so desperately need. Yo-Yo Rodriguez tries to stop her, saying that they know they will be enslaved if they agree to the deal. May begs for Rodriguez's help, saying they are doing the best they can. Robin Hinton, standing beside May, mutters about Flint, but Rodriguez snaps at her that she is being useless, since Flint is not around and will not be born for 50 years. Hinton says that Alphonso Mackenzie will help Flint, and Rodriguez angrily says that Mackenzie is gone and never coming back. May asks her to have faith, but she says she gave up faith a long time ago.[2]

Leo Fitz takes Robin Hinton to Melinda May to request she look after her since he is fed up with the girl's muttering, as she has now been recounting how Jemma Simmons dies. May reminds him she cannot help it and says that she also gave them the way out, with him having designed the time machine she suggested. Fitz tears down the plans, shouting that none of it matters because they cannot change time and are stuck in a loop, and Simmons and everyone else will always die. He states that Hinton cannot change that, that Samuel Voss could not change it when he tried in 2091, and that Daisy Johnson could not change things even after seeing the aftermath, still participating in the destruction of Earth. Experiencing time in a nonlinear fashion, Robin Hinton, thinking of events in 2091, suddenly starts crying out to warn Daisy Johnson that "he", Samuel Voss, "has a knife".[2]
Robin Hinton struggles to sleep, calling out to her "mom", Melinda May. May sits with her, and Hinton says she wishes she did not have her power as every night she sees people hurting and dying in her dreams, including May herself. May assures her that she is not too afraid of death, as Hinton will be with her when she passes, and tells her that she too will be there for Hinton when she dies, having already experienced this back in 2091. Hinton says that she realizes that she has to tell May how she can get back home, but May tells her that it is too early, and she needs to instead tell her when they are back on Zephyr One many years in the future. She asks that Hinton remind her on that day that she has an important mission and inform her of her vision of saving the world. Hinton says she has not had that vision, but May assures her she will, and says she will stay with her until she falls asleep.[2]
