Raul Bushman, Marc Spector, and Abdallah El-Faouly join others on an expedition to a temple in Egypt. Bushman gets greedy and decides to take the prizes for himself,[3] telling Spector that there are to be no witnesses. Spector tries to save everyone, but Bushman kills them all, including El-Faouly.[1][2]
Spector, having been shot, enters the temple, leaving a trail of blood behind him. He crawls onto the steps by a statue of Khonshu and sees that he is bleeding. He prepares to kill himself, but is stopped by a voice calling him a waste. The voice says that he feels Spector's pain and reveals himself to be Khonshu, searching for a warrior to serve his vengeance. Khonshu offers to save his life, commenting that his mind is fractured, which makes him a worthy candidate.[1][2]
Khonshu asks if Spector promises to protect the travelers of the night in exchange for his life. Spector looks at the blood on his hands as Khonshu asks again, and agrees. Khonshu heals Spector and gives him a ceremonial armor, giving him new purpose, as Moon Knight.[1][2]
Feeling guilty about Abdallah El-Faouly's death, Marc Spector tracks down his daughter, Layla El-Faouly. Spector cannot bring himself to tell El-Faouly the truth about his death, and the two start spending time together.[3][2]

Kate Bishop wins first place in a fencing tournament. She is given a metal and holds her fist up in celebration.[5][6]
Mobius M. Mobius goes to the Sacred Timeline in Cleveland. He watches as Don, an alternate version of himself, plays with Sean and Kevin. Sean and Kevin overwhelm Don, who sends them inside, catches his breath, and enters his house himself. Mobius is joined by Sylvie Laufeydottir, who comments on the quality of the yard. Mobius says it is the best house on the block.[9][10]
They discuss the strangeness of Loki not being with them. Sylvie decides to leave, not knowing his destination. Mobius decides to wait there and let time pass. Sylvie places her hand on Mobius' shoulder and leaves in a Timedoor as Mobius watches.[9][10]
↑ 2.02.12.22.32.42.52.6Marvel Studios' The Marvel Cinematic Universe: An Official Timeline places Marc Spector becoming Moon Knight in "2022." In The Tomb, it is revealed that Spector and Layla El-Faouly met because of the events. They later got married and divorced by May 2025 (see 2025 references), which would take a significant amount of time. To maximize the amount of time, it can be taken that Spector became Moon Knight in January 2022 and married El-Faouly in August 2023. In Asylum, it is shown that Spector became Moon Knight on the night of a waning crescent moon, placing it on January 27, 2022. Spector meeting El-Faouly can therefore be taken to have occurred the following day, January 28. In Asylum, Spector says that he went on the mission in which he became Moon Knight after entering a fugue state, which can be taken to have occurred two days prior, with Raul Bushman hiring Spector the day prior.

Kate is shown asking Eleanor for a bow and arrow is dated to May 9, 2012 (see other references), so her receiving the bow, which is shown to be soon after, can be taken to be the next day. Since the montage details Kate's training, it can also be understood that the first scene of Kate firing her bow and arrow is meant to be the first time she used it, placing that scene on May 10, 2012 as well. In Never Meet Your Heroes, Eleanor says to Kate, "I still remember when you got your black belt at 15." This event is dated to December 15, 2017 (see 2017 references). It takes approximately 54 months to earn a black belt. However, in Hide and Seek, Kate says, "I, uh, started martial arts training when I was five." It must therefore be taken that she started at five, but did not take it seriously until after she decided she would protect her family in 2012. Using 54 months prior to when she earned her black belt, June 2013, as a starting point, Kate would have earned her yellow belt at the 3 month mark, in September 2013. She would have earned her orange belt, therefore ending her time as a yellow belt, that December. This fight can therefore be approximated to the midpoint of these dates, October 15, 2013. The scenes preceding this scene can therefore be evenly distributed between May 10, 2012 and October 15, 2013. Similarly, the scenes that follow this scene can be evenly distributed between October 15, 2013, and the start of the present day events, December 18, 2024 (see 2024 references), while keeping events clear of events given more specific dates.
↑In Crushed, Bruno Carrelli says "I watched [Baazigar] a few years back" on September 26, 2025 (see 2025 references). "A few" typically refers to 3-4 years, so Carrelli can be taken to have seen it 3½ years prior, in March 2022.
↑ 10.010.1In Glorious Purpose, Mobius M. Mobius is shown observing Don and his children, who are the same age as the alternate versions depicted in Science/Fiction.
