Vanessa Carlysle, growing upset with her boyfriend Wade Wilson's stagnant lifestyle since being rejected from the Avengers, asks Wilson to prove that he can care about something bigger than himself. Knowing he is going through some things, she wishes to help him be able to get back up after his rejection from the team. Despite attempts to work through it, the couple eventually breaks up.[4][2]

While onstage, Chris Rock is slapped by Will Smith, after which the latter says the phrase "Keep my wife's name out your fucking mouth."[5][2]
Wade Wilson gets ready for his work day at Drive Max by stapling his wig to his head. He gets himself excited to sell pre-owned vehicles.[6][2]
Wilson attempts to sell a Kia Carnival to Tammy Chipman and her husband. He swears when asked to compare the Carnival to the Honda Odyssey, upsetting Chipman. He apologizes and says that he does not have kids due to a lack of sex in his life.[6][2]
In the break room, Peter Wisdom comforts Wilson about losing the sale and tries to convince Wilson to don the Deadpool Suit again. Wisdom reveals that the suit is in his locker, but Wilson assures him that he is retried and is fine with being retired despite not being happy with sales.[6][2]
On the bike ride home, Wisdom pushes further, wanting Wilson to do superhero work again to help him with what Wisdom believes to be a mid-life crisis. Wisdom talks about a friend who got a nipple piercing while Wilson notices a construction crew snapping photos of him. Wisdom asks if Wilson is upset because it is his birthday, which Wilson denies.[6][2]
Wilson talks with Dopinder, who tells a story about finding AirPods in his cab.[6][2]
Wilson sits down next to Blind Al, who asks if he made any sales that day, reminding him that rent is due soon. Wilson jokes that he recently sold some of her medication, leading the two to jokingly wish death on each other.[6][2]
Wilson speaks with Colossus, who mentions he has been watching Great British Bake Off, which Wilson admits he enjoys.[6][2]
Wilson talks to Buck, sharing his thoughts on various controversial political issues, but he prevents Buck from responding before greeting Yukio and Negasonic Teenage Warhead. Negasonic Teenage Warhead makes fun of Wilson's wig, which Wilson defends. Yukio compliments the wig.[6][2]
Al suggests doing cocaine, but Wilson says that Kevin Feige said they were not allowed to. Al suggest various nicknames for cocaine, but Wilson says that Feige knows all of them.[6][2]
Wisdom shows Dopinder, Yukio, and Negasonic Teenage Warhead his nipple piercing chain as Wilson and Carlysle discuss work. Wilson asks if Carlysle is dating someone, so Carlysle tells him about Dermot and jokes about her near death which happened when she was dating Wilson. Carlysle returns the question, who jokes that he shares a bed with Al. Carlysle walks away, saddening Wilson.[6][2]
The party-goers sing "Happy Birthday" to Wilson, who then gives a speech about how challenging the last few years have been, but that he is happy to have his friends by his side. Wilson makes his wish and blows out his candle, only to hear a knock at the door.[6][2]
Capture of Wade Wilson: Wilson opens his door to find a group of Minutemen brandishing their Time Sticks. Believing them to be dancers, he insists that he will kiss them. They arm their Time Sticks as Wilson continues making sex jokes and tries to get them to leave. Wilson is then pulled through a Timedoor.[6][2]
In the 24th Street Station, Paradox and his crew get the Time Ripper ready, but Paradox gets frustrated when he sees Deadpool and Wolverine heading his way. Paradox demands that they cancel the safety checks.[6][2]
Deadpool and Wolverine confront Paradox, but are interrupted by Cassandra Nova opening a portal and sending Pyro though it. Pyro tells Paradox that they have a problem before Nova snaps his neck and throws him back into the Void. Nova uses her powers to examine Paradox's mind, learning of the Time Ripper's existence. Deciding that she wants to use it, she launches Deadpool and Wolverine into a nearby store.[6][2]
Nova taunts Paradox for breaking their deal with Pyro and says that she is going to destroy the entire Multiverse until all that remains is the Void. She drags Paradox into the subway station, saying that she brought people in to prevent them from being disturbed. She forces Paradox to activate the Time Ripper and is relieved as she pulls out of Paradox's head.[6][2]
Deadpool and Wolverine wake up, but are faced with a portal opening. Dogpool exits the portal and runs into Deadpool's arms, much to his delight. She is soon followed by Nicepool, who asks for his dog back, leading to a small spat between the two Deadpools. Wolverine tells them to shut up as the Deadpool Corps arrive through the portal.[6][2]
Wolverine holds Dogpool as Deadpool tries to reason with the other Deadpools, but Kidpool berates him. When Deadpool suggests stopping this whole Multiverse thing, Ladypool and Cowboypool correct him, saying it will be over when Nova destroys it. Headpool tells them that if they wish to stop Nova, they have to get through them as Ladypool raises her uzis and fires. Deadpool grabs Nicepool and uses him as a human shield, thinking he will just heal afterwards.[6][2]
Deadpool, Wolverine, Dogpool and Nicepool take cover behind a car, and Nicepool acts confused when Deadpool asks him about his regenerative abilities. The trio realizes that Nicepool is going to die. Deadpool sees a donut cart and claims there will be first aid equipment there, subjecting Nicepool to the Deadpool Corps' weapons once more. Deadpol convinces Nicepool that he is going to live as he stops and holds him in front of the guns. However, Nicepool's head then explodes, killing him.[6][2]
Deadpool kills the remainder of Nicepool's corpse to the donut corpse. Wolverine heads over to the cart as well, and the Deadpools hold their fire to protect Dogpool. Deadpool takes Nicepool's duel golden Desert Eagles and asks if Wolverine is ready, who confirms that he is before setting Dogpool down.[6][2]
Deadpool and Wolverine stride into the street and prepare to face off with the Deadpool Corps. Wolverine reaches behind his head and puts on his cowl, surprising Deadpool, who is excited to see him finally don the cowl. The two teams charge at each other and battle in an all-out brawl. Wolverine uses his claws to slaughter numerous Deadpools, including Ladypool, Golden Age Deadpool, Cowboypool, and more. Deadpool opens fire on the others and they each make their way through the horde of Deadpools. Deadpool grabs Headpool and uses him to kill other Deadpools. Deadpool 2099 leads the charge with Zenpool, Welshpool, Samuraipool, and many more, only for all of them to be slaughtered by the combined efforts of Deadpool and Wolverine.[6][2]
Blind Al leans out the window of her and Deadpool's apartment and remarks that she wishes she were deaf due to all the noise.[6][2]
Following Cowboypool onto a nearby bus, Deadpool and Wolverine continue to massacre the Deadpools, grabbing Cowboypool and killing him as well. The pair burst through the rear window of the bus and Deadpool trips over it, landing on his face, leading him to berate himself for ruining the superhero landing. Babypool laughs at them as they realize that Deadpools can't die, so the entire Deadpool Corps begin to stand back up as they regenerate.[6][2]

As the Deadpools begin to ready for another round, Peter Wisdom arrives, wearing Deadpool's original suit and declaring that Deadpool is with him. The Deadpools all stop fighting as they realize who this is. Since they all admire Wisdom, they all crowd around Wisdom and cheer for him, allowing Deadpool and Wolverine to head for Nova.[6][2]
Nova begins to control the Time Ripper, absorbing its energy. Deadpool and Wolverine meet with Paradox, who tells them what Nova plans to do and the way to stop the Ripper. He reveals that if they were to short-circuit the feeds in the underground chamber it would stop the machine, but that whoever does it would be completely atomized and destroyed.[6][2]
As they head for Nova, Deadpool talks with Wolverine, saying that he will be the one to sacrifice himself. Wolverine stops him, saying Deadpool still has a whole world to go back to. Deadpool tells him that he is the best Wolverine, who tells him to say hi to his friends when the fight is over. However, Deadpool shoves Wolverine to the side and steps into the chamber room, preparing to sacrifice himself, as Wolverine pleads with him not to.[6][2]
Nova continues to absorb more energy, bringing the timeline's integrity down to 77%.[6][2]
Deadpool breaks the chamber and grabs the blue side of it, but before he can grab the orange side, Wolverine breaks down the door and joins hands with him, extending his claws into the orange side, closing the loop, and short-circuiting the machine. The sheer amount of energy destroys Wolverine's top and the pair struggle to hold on as the matter and anti-matter course through them. The pair accept their fates and make peace with their impending death as Nova struggles against them, but she is unable to survive the sheer energy and is killed by the Ripper when it explodes, restoring the timeline's integrity.[6][2]
B-15 arrives in the subway and questions Paradox on his usage of an unsanctioned Time Ripper. Paradox attempts to lie and blame it on Nova, claiming to be saddened by Deadpool and Wolverine's deaths. However, he is frustrated when the duo, alive and well, walk into the control room. B-15 orders her men to prune Deadpool, but Wisdom quickly runs over and intervenes, telling her that this one belongs in their universe.[6][2]
B-15 has Paradox arrested, and after berating Deadpool and Wolverine, shows them that they have saved the timeline from its eminent doom. Deadpool asks if B-15 can save Elektra, Blade, Gambit, and Laura from the Void, so she obliges, but when Wilson asks about "fixing" Logan's universe, she says that his past led him to this moment, so there is nothing to fix. As B-15 and the TVA leave, Wilson suggests getting shawarma.[6][2]
Wilson and Logan, tired from the battle, rest and eat shawarma together. Wolverine says that the Avengers would be lucky to have him, and the two are shocked to see Dogpool run over to them and jump into Wilson's arms. As Logan attempts to leave, Wilson invites him to his apartment to meet his friends.[6][2]

Wilson's friends all make Logan and Laura feel welcome
Logan is impaled by a tree during a battle to protect his biologically engineered daughter Laura. Laura breaks the tree brach, allowing Logan to fall to the ground.[7][2]
Laura sobs over her father and holds his hand as, with his final breath he insists that she does not live her life as just the weapon the scientists made her to be. As Logan succumbs to his injuries, he quietly mutters that he now finally knows how it feels to die.[7][2]
To honor his sacrifice, Laura and the other kids bury Logan and mark his grave with a wooden cross, but Laura repositions it to instead be an X.[7][2]

↑In Deadpool & Wolverine, when Dopinder discusses finding the AirPods, Wade Wilson and Shatterstar both react as though Dopinder had told the story many times prior, meaning that the earliest it could have happened was some time prior to this scene on October 30, 2024. It could have happened any time after the end of Deadpool 2 on June 8, 2018 (see 2010s/Earth-10005 references), since Dopinder does not reference the incident in those films. Therefore, it can be approximated that this happened at the midpoint of these times, July 19, 2021.

In the comics, Deadpool is described as a Scorpio on the cusp, a reference to Ryan Reynolds' October 23rd birthday in a decision made after Reynolds was cast to play Deadpool in the Deadpool trilogy. Due to this and aligning with fall foliage seen in the city, it can be taken that the events on Wilson's birthday occur three days before November 1, October 29th, 2024. Wilson is taken by the Time Variance Authority that night, and Mr. Paradox says that it will take seventy-two hours for the Time Ripper to destroy Wilson's universe. Although it ultimately takes less time due to Paradox ordering his agents to skip important events, it can still be understood that the climax of the movie is set three days later, on November 1, 2024. Blind Al is shown wearing different clothes during the climax and the final scene in which Wilson's friends gather, so that can be taken to be the following day, November 2, 2024.
