- Daisy Johnson begins leading a S.H.I.E.L.D. team in outer space alongside Daniel Sousa and Kora on board the Zephyr Three.[1]
- Phil Coulson decides to go on sabbatical for a year to reassess his life and see the world.[1]

- After waiting six years for Xu Shang-Chi to return, Xu Xialing realizes that she does not need her brother anymore. She leaves the Ten Rings using the tunnel system under their compound.[3][4]

- In Theta Serpentis, Alya is born to the 32-year-old Leo Fitz and Jemma Simmons.[2][1]

4th[]
- At the speakeasy in New York City, "Phil Coulson" arrives via hologram for an agreed meeting with his old team. Daisy Johnson also arrives, then Yo-Yo Rodriguez, Melinda May, and Leo Fitz and Jemma Simmons. Alphonso Mackenzie arrives late, saying there was a situation in Moscow that needed his attention, which is unfortunately classified. He says he is enjoying his new offices, having a view finally. Rodriguez tells them she is not stationed there currently, in fact on assignment chasing an 0-8-4 with her team, joking that Piper might be regretting her choice of reward for protecting the Containment Module.[1][7]
- Simmons asks May about her new job, which May says she finds exhausting. Leo Fitz and Simmons joke about their exhaustion being parents, and Johnson mocks them, pointing out they retired, but they talk about how tiring being parents are. "Coulson" says that Alya is great, as Simmons updates them about Alya now learning to swim and wishing she could design a fish. Mackenzie checks she got his present, and Fitz thanks them all, asking they refrain from presents beyond one a year. Simmons tells them they got a nice letter from Daniel Sousa, and Johnson says she got him a typewriter, which had excited him. She updates them that things are going well with them as they are enjoying their journey together, and he is made for their line of work and says "hi".[1][7]
- Johnson turns to "Coulson" to ask how he feels now, after saying he would take the year to reassess, and he explains he is not in a rush to turn himself off, wishing to see more of the world first. May, Mackenzie, and Johnson each offer him a chance to join them after he finishes his sabbatical. Johnson's hologram flickers, and Rodriguez tells them she is approaching the drop zone and will have to go. May admits she has a group waiting, and Johnson says they are losing signal approaching a nebula, so they agree to call the end of the meeting. Simmons suggests meeting every year, and they agree, refusing to lose touch after all they have been through together, recalling the times they have died or been taken over like zombies. They reminisce about Deke Shaw, assuring each other he is probably doing fine.[1][7]
- Rodriguez disconnects from the call, as she is driven by the Life-Model Decoy James Davis made by Fitz and Simmons, who Piper, also in the car, is becoming increasingly frustrated with, to Rodriguez's amusement. Rodriguez opens her car door and speeds out to her target compound.[1][7]
- May tells Mackenzie she will be sending him some name recommendations, and asks "Coulson" to come by during his travels to tell some stories to S.H.I.E.L.D. newcomers. She disconnects from the call, and Flint finds her, telling her she is late to class. May jokes that since she is giving the lecture, she is not late, but "dramatic", as they make their way through the Coulson Academy.[1][7]
- Leo Fitz tells the team Alya is bothering him for attention, so they should go and get back to their picnic with her, as she has been patient. He disconnects. Simmons tells Johnson she will email her the anatomy analysis she's waiting for after Fitz is asleep, calling it interesting. She disconnects too, and watches her husband playing with her daughter in the garden, the three of them happy.[1][7]
- Mackenzie checks with "Coulson" that he has received the package from him. He gives him the code 1-3-6, saying there is an additional present inside. "Coulson" asks if it is what he thinks it is, and Mackenzie admits he could not help himself, still a mechanic at heart. He disconnects from the call and returns to work aboard his Helicarrier.[1][7]
- With only Johnson and "Coulson" left on the call, Johnson says she is glad he is seeing the world, but that he has a talent for finding lost people with promise, as is shown by what he put together with their team. He asks how things are with Kora, and Johnson says Kora is doing well because of someone believing in her, the way "Coulson" once did for her. "Coulson" asks her to call him when they get back. He disconnects, and Johnson does too.[1][7]
- Aboard Zephyr Three, Johnson assures Sousa the team are doing well. Kora calls her from the cockpit to come and look, and the couple join Kora to witness the beauty of the nebula they are approaching as a group.[1][7]
- "Coulson" retrieves the package from Mackenzie and opens it, finding his deactivation button for when he is ready, and car keys. "Coulson" presses the keys and hears the vehicle unlock nearby, finding it to be a familiar red Corvette. He gets in the new L.O.L.A., dons his shades as he had done so often, starts it up, and activates its jets, as it transforms into a sleeker, black, more upgraded version of the flying car. He notes the upgrade as "cool", then starts moving, flying off to his next adventure.[1][7]

They spent 4 years together, suggesting they jumped back in time around July 2023. It can be taken as a specific 4 years, so roughly July 4, 2023, or a more general "2023 - 2019 = 4", so any time in 2023 (approximating with mid-year). Putting more weight on the more specific, it can be approximated to July 3, 2023. This is suitable, given Leo and Simmons have been celebrating Alya's birthday, and if they have traveled a near exact number of years, this means Alya's birthday aligns closely with the date on which she becomes a year older, simplifying her birthday.
Harlow Happy Hexum was 4 years and 10 months old during filming, suggesting Alya is around 4 in the 2023 and returned-to-2019 scenes, and 5 in the following 2020 epilogue scene. However, Alya was conceived no earlier than July 2019, meaning she was born no earlier than early 2020, thus maximum 3. So, for her to be as close as realistically possible to 4, she should indeed be born in early/mid-2020. On average, a pregnant woman finds out they are pregnant about 245 days before birth. In Brand New Day, a flashback is shown to just after Simmons has found out she is pregnant, and is implied to have been a while after they began their work. Assuming it is at least 3 months, but taking it as no more than 3 months due to wanting to maximize Alya's age, that scene may be approximated to October 4, 2019, and thus Simmons finding out her pregnancy around October 1, 2019, finally therefore meaning Alya was born around early June 2020 (roughly June 2nd). This is suitable, as in What We're Fighting For it is seemingly implied in July that her birthday has been in recent month.
It can be assumed that Fitz starting to study the Time Stream is July 5, 2019, and then the scenes of the montage shown between then and the scene approximated to October 4, 2019 can be evenly distributed to July 23rd, August 10th, August 29th, and September 16th. At some point between July 5, 2019 and July 3, 2023 during the studying of the Time Stream, Fitz finds out about Kora's importance and the team being together for the final time in the speakeasy. This may be approximated to the midpoint, July 2021.
Simmons appears to be about a month from birth when Leo makes her the tea, so roughly May 2, 2020. Alya appears to be about 4 months old as the family watch a film, suggesting it is around October 2-November 1, 2020, so October 17, 2020. She is about the same age when they look at the stars together as when they time travel back to 2019, so this can be taken to be shortly before in 2023 - around a week prior, so June 26, 2023. - ↑ 3.0 3.1 Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

In Never Meet Your Heroes, Eleanor says to Kate, "I still remember when you got your black belt at 15." This event is dated to December 15, 2017 (see 2017 references). It takes approximately 54 months to earn a black belt. However, in Hide and Seek, Kate says, "I, uh, started martial arts training when I was five." It must therefore be taken that she started at five, but did not take it seriously until after she decided she would protect her family in 2012. Using 54 months prior to when she earned her black belt, June 2013, as a starting point, Kate would have earned her yellow belt at the 3 month mark, in September 2013.
