- Peter rushes out the door as May gives him oatmeal. Peter hugs May and thanks him.[10][11]
- Outside, Peter rushes toward the train, but sees his train leave. He laments that things do not work out for him and looks in his backpack, looking at his oatmeal, disgusted. May pulls up next to Peter and offers a ride to school, saying that she would rather be late to work than have Peter be late to his first day of school. Peter gets in the car and they drive off.[10][11]
- May asks about Peter's excitement, and Peter expresses his joy at getting to go to Midtown High School. He also notes that it will be nice to have something to distract from Ben Parker's death. May pulls up at the school, and Peter thanks her for supporting him through Ben's death. May tears up and returns the compliment. They hug and Peter gets out of the car, thanking him again for the ride.[10][11]
A Symbiotic Alien appears at Midtown High School
- Peter talks himself up, when suddenly an Inter-Dimensional Portal opens above the school. A Symbiotic Alien falls out of the portal, and May tries to drag Peter away. The alien attacks a student, but Stephen Strange appears and stops him. Strange realizes where he is, saying that they are not meant to be there. The alien fights back, throwing Strange into the school and entering. They cause significant damage to the school as a spider begins to enter through the portal.[10][11]
- The alien breaks through the Shield of the Seraphim, so Strange reorients the gymnasium while the Cloak of Levitation catches a falling child. Strange makes the alien fall into another portal, which lands it on a truck outside. While the cloak looks for other civilians, Strange confronts the alien, who throws a truck at him. Strange makes himself intangible, and the truck crashes into the school. The alien throws Strange, who is saved by the cloak.[10][11]

The spider crawls onto another backpack, which gets picked up by its owner as Peter falls unconscious[11] and Minoru asks after him.[10][6]
- Peter wakes up to find May helping him sit up and Minoru calling for a paramedic. The paramedic tells Parker that he does not appear to have a concussion, suggesting that he go to the emergency room. Peter does not want to go due to the price. Peter jokes about the amount that May is buying, and while May pays for the food, Jerry knocks over a stack of boxes. Peter senses the fall boxes and moves Murph out of the way. May rushes over to Peter while Jerry comments on Parker's apparent reflexes. Parker claims that the stack simply missed him and asks to go home, wanting to stay inside. Jerry tells Delmar to check the security footage to see Parker getting out of the way, but Delmar instead says he is going to erase it to avoid a lawsuit from the Parkers and tells Jerry to get back to work.[10][6]
- At home, May asks Peter what he wants for dinner, insisting on cooking something for him. Minoru and O'Hara appear at the door, holding food to thank Peter for helping Minoru. Peter lets O'Hara and Minoru in as May greets O'Hara and accepts the food, inviting them to stay for dinner. O'Hara and Minoru accept, and the four eat dinner together. After the meal, O'Hara insists on helping May with the dishes while Minoru pushes Peter into his bedroom to avoid helping.[10][6]
Peter Parker and Nico Minoru discuss the Destruction of Midtown High School
- Minoru looks into the real estate conglomerate that wants to buy Midtown High and realizes that it is owned by several shell corporations tracing back to Silvermane's brother-in-law. 9th[]
Peter Parker and Nico Minoru meet up at Midtown High School
- At 12:03 AM, Nico Minoru attempts to sneak up on Peter Parker, but he greets her before she makes herself known, startling her. Parker claims that he simply heard Minoru coming, and Minoru criticizes Parker's lack of dark clothes. Parker gives Minoru a flashlight as the duck under caution tape and head into Midtown High School.[12][6]
- Examining a classroom, Minoru laments that the damage is worse than she thought. Parker looks at the cleanly cut gas feeds and realizes that the explosion was separate from the fight that happened shortly prior. He shows Minoru and notices a matchbook which would be unsafe to use around gas feeds. Minoru realizes that the explosion was intentionally set off and shows Parker her discovery that the real estate conglomerate looking to buy the land is owned by Silvermane's brother-in-law. Minoru and Parker then hear Paulie and Vincenzo arguing about whether Vincenzo would help Paulie if he were injured. Parker and Minoru sneak out of the classroom right before Paulie, Vincenzo, and other members of the Manfredi Crime Family enter.[12][6]
Nico Minoru and Peter Parker run from the Manfredi Crime Family
- Escaping the school, Parker excitedly jumps across buildings, enjoying his newfound agility and asking himself how he was capable of doing it. Remembering how he broke the lock, he picks up a cinderblock and destroys it in his hands. He tests his agility more and crawls on the wall, realizing his abilities are like that of a spider. Parker descends into an alley as the realization he could have died sets in and he vomits into a trash can.[12][6]
- Parker makes it home and calls Minoru, who is relieved that he is alright. Parker suggests they tell the Police Department of New York City about what happened, but Minoru suggests that there are likely corrupt police officers who would make targets out of Parker, Minoru, and anyone they cared about. Parker and Minoru agree to keep quiet and decide to try to find a different solution. They hang up to go to sleep, and Parker looks at his poster of Steve Rogers and decides to find another way to help Midtown High School.[12][6]
- Vincenzo tells Silvermane about what happened, swearing that Parker had superpowers. Silvermane believes Vincenzo and demands that he leave, telling Michael Marko that having a powered individual interfering in their affairs is unacceptable. He wants Parker stopped, so Marko offers to do it himself. However, Silvermane says that he wants Parker's death to be more of a spectacle, so he tells Marko to call the Enforcers.[12][6]
- Parker questions his abilities and why he was deserving of them.[13][14]

Spider-Man throws Crusher Hogan higher than expected
- Trip announces the start of his cage match series, announcing the start of a match between Crusher Hogan and Parker's new codename, "Spider-Man." Parker is intimidated by Hogan while Trip and Brent debate whether Parker has a chance. Hogan lunges at Parker and grabs his leg as Parker attempts to avoid him, throwing him against the cage. Hogan lifts Parker and takes him to the top of the cage, preparing to throw him out of the cage. However, Parker gets the upper hand and throws Hogan into the air.[12][2]
- Parker worries about how high he threw Hogan, jumping out of the cage and not wanting to kill him. Trip and Brent admire Parker's speed as he rushes and manages to catch Hogan, saving him. Trip is impressed and tries to check to see if the waiver makes Spider-Man his intellectual property, but Brent reports that it does not. Trip tries to get Parker to sign a new contract, but Parker leaves and tells them to send the prize money digitally. Hogan follows Parker off Trip's Estate intending to crush him, but Parker puts Hogan in a trash can. He walks away, declaring that he will not be Spider-Man anymore until he can figure out his own strength. Hogan regrets not taking a bouncer job.[12][2]
15th[]
- Peter Parker throws water heaters into the air, getting a handle of his own strength and catching them using his adhesive hands. He thinks about getting a way to grab things that are out of reach and notices a spider on his web.[12][2]
- Parker buys several elements needed for his project, and claims to his aunt that he needs them for a home economics project. His aunt goes to work while Parker begins developing Web-Shooters that deploy Synthetic Webbing. - Parker stops a bank robber with his Synthetic Webbing, but gets stuck to the robber, leading him to consider making the webs last less than two hours and get clothing that the webbing will not stick to. Parker complains about the smell of the robber's breath, leading the robber to defend themself by saying they were not meant to get that close to Parker.[12][2]
- Once he's unstuck, Parker reaches his apartment building where Nico Minoru finds him and tells him that they were assigned to Rockford T. Bales High School, which has an impressive academics program. Minoru notices Parker's breath, and Parker assures her that he will not smell like that upon reaching the new school.[12][2]
21st[]
- Driving to school, Trip sees a car parked in his preferred parking spot in front of the school. He looks for a new spot, only able to find one under a tree. He parks there, but gets concerned about animals leaving waste on the car.[12][2]
- Peter Parker and Nico Minoru arrive at Rockford T. Bales High School and look around. Parker is intimidated by the amount of athletes present and decides that he and Minoru should remain unnoticed. Trip and Brent see Parker standing next to the car that is in his preferred parking spot, so he yells at Parker under the impression that it is his car. Brent realizes that Parker and Minoru intended to go to Midtown High School, leading Trip to mock their economic status and declare that no one at school wants them there.[12][2]
- Minoru recognizes Trip from his broadcasted cage matches and says that he is not capable of making friends without paying them. She reveals a video of Brent saying that he does not actually like Trip, but is simply using him for his wealth. In the video, Brent also reveals that he is dating Trip's sister, leading the two of them to fight. Parker compliments Minoru as they walk away. They agree to stay together and look out for each other.[12][2]
- That night, Parker creates a Spider-Man Suit out of material that will not stick to his Synthetic Webbing. He swings through New York City.[12][2]
22nd[]
- As Spider-Man, Peter Parker swings through New York City and sees a car driving toward a lamp post. Parker uses his Synthetic Webbing to stop the car before the driver is hurt. He helps the driver out of the car and is asked who he is. Happy at the chance to announce his name correctly, he refers to himself as "Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" as he is filmed by a news channel.[12][2]
- Silvermane watches the news report on Spider-Man and throws his drink at the television in anger. Michael Marko arrives in Silvermane's office alongside the Enforcers, so Silvermane expresses trust in Marko and the Enforcers to handle Spider-Man. Each Enforcer introduces himself and Marko assures Silvermane that they will handle Spider-Man.[12][2]
23rd[]
- May Parker tells Peter Parker that she has a late night at work. Parker claims that he is going to be doing homework all night. However, once she leaves, Parker puts on his Spider-Man Suit, feeling about lying to his aunt. He leaves out the window and swings through New York City.[12][2]
- Attack on Spider-Man:
- Parker sees a store owner being chased out of his store by the Enforcers, who demand money from the store owner. Parker stops Ox from punching the store owner and intervenes. Parker tries to fire his webs at Fancy Dan, but he jumps and dodges them. Parker creates a web wide enough that Fancy Dan cannot dodge, sticking him to a wall. Montana then comes out of the store and uses his whip to break the tubes that carry Parker's Synthetic Webbing. Ox knocks Parker down and frees Fancy Dan from the webs.[12][2]
The Enforcers fight Spider-Man
24th[]
- Peter Parker walks through the hallway of Rockford T. Bales High School and listens to people insult Spider-Man. Using his agility, he avoids getting hit in the hallway, impressing football coach Phil Grayfield. He compliments Parker and tells him about junior varsity football tryouts the next day, asking Parker to try out. Parker is hesitant, not wanting to hurt his chances at an academic scholarship for college, but Grayfield notes that he would be able to get a full scholarship to a football school.[12][16]
- Parker and Nico Minoru walk home from school, and Parker asks if it would be cheating to use his advantage to get into college. Minoru says that people do such a thing regularly and asks what advantage, so Parker claims he is debating whether to write his college essay about Ben Parker. Minoru tells Parker to decide whether he thinks he can live with it, but assures Parker that it is not cheating. They arrive at a town hall meeting regarding Midtown High School as Minoru explains that Silvermane is cheating and that they want to do something about.[12][16]
- In the meeting, an attendee says that Midtown High School is an important part of the community and that they need to pressure their representatives not to sell the land. However, the Enforcers then arrive, causing fear among the room. Minoru shows Parker a video of the store owner from the previous night claiming the Enforcers were his friends, causing Parker to realize he was set up. The meeting is ended early out of fear as one attendee explains that by sending the Enforcers, Silvermane was staking his claim on Midtown High School and sending a message that anyone who interfered would be killed.[12][16]
- Parker returns home, where May Parker is surprised by his black eye from the fight the night before. Peter claims he got the injury from trying out for football, surprising May. May expresses concern about Peter getting hurt, but Peter assures her that he would be wearing protective gear. Parker expresses his concern that using his natural abilities would feel wrong, leading May to share that Ben was similar. May tells Peter that he does not have to feel bad about being gifted at something, which helps Peter.[12][16]
25th[]
- Peter Parker walks to the Rockford T. Bales High School football field, where he is greeted by Phil Grayfield. He catches the ball and begins running with it, debating to himself whether it is ethical to use his powers. He jumps over two players, causing them to run into each other. Seeing them get hurt, Parker realizes that it is wrong for him to play any sport and starts messing up the game on purpose. Grayfield tries to advise Parker, but he makes several more mistakes.[12][16]
- After tryouts, Grayfield comforts Parker and apologizes for getting his hopes up. Parker says that it is alright, and Grayfield jokes that he should stay away from sports.[12][16]
- Parker gets home and tells May Parker that he did not make the team. Peter sees May writing a grant proposal for the shelter due to it being underfunded. Peter says that he is impressed with May's ability to take on the responsibility seemingly without it bothering her, but May admits that it does bother her. She advises Parker to give himself time to feel frustrated and then get back to work helping people.[12][16]
- Peter goes into his room and admires May's dedication as he works on his Web-Shooters. He makes the tank containing Synthetic Webbing less bulky and makes flexible lenses for his mask. He puts on his finished Spider-Man Suit and looks for a symbol to put on the chest.[12][16]
- Peter Parker looks at several sketches and erases the face from one, choosing to put it on his outfit.[12][16]
27th[]
- Spider-Man swings through New York City, declaring that he is back and not going anywhere.[12][16]

Parker states his intention to plug a data drive directly into Silvermane's computer, not wanting to tell her that he will be doing it as Spider-Man. Parker assures Minoru that it will be safe, so Minoru agrees to help.[12][17]
- Attack on the Manfredi Crime Family:
- At the Silvermane Hair Products for Men, Inc. Manhattan Headquarters, Silvermane, Michael Marko, and the Enforcers watch a news report on their Attack on Spider-Man. Silvermane thanks the group for undermining the public's faith in Spider-Man, admiring their efforts. Parker suddenly breaks through the ceiling, declaring Queens to be under his protection. Silvermane thanks Parker for breaking in so that they can legally kill him, ordering the Enforcers to do so. Marko and the Enforcers attack Parker, who manages to avoid their attacks while slipping the data drive into Silvermane's computer.[12][17]
- Parker throws Marko and Ox through the windows on the balcony and jumps out after them as Montana shoots at him and Silvermane shouts not to let him escape.[12][17]
- Minoru receives the data from the file and emails it to Robbie Robertson, Barney Bushkin, Action News, Channel 6 News, Channel 8, and 10 News.[12][17]
- Attack on the Manfredi Crime Family:
Spider-Man fights the Enforcers
- Fancy Dan tells Silvermane to look at the news, where he sees reports of the data that Parker and Minoru leaked. Silvermane orders that his lawyer, Herman, be called, demanding that they serve cease and desist letters to the news. Fancy Dan makes the call as Silvermane finds the data drive, calling Parker a coward, reinforcing his command to throw him off the roof. Marko takes Parker to the roof and throws him off while Parker struggles to think of what to do.[17] As he falls, Parker reflects on what happened in his life that led him there.[12][6]
- Parker has a vision of Minoru criticizing him for dying by underachieving. Parker apologizes to the vision, thanking her for being a good friend. He sees May Parker asking him not to leave her alone, but Peter suggests that she will be better off not having to take care of him. He sees Ben Parker reminding him of how strongly May is affected by loss and that he should never give up. Parker slows his fall by grabbing onto a flag hanging on the building, which let him stick to the wall, hurting himself.[12][18]
- Silvermane sends Marko and Fancy Dan to makes sure Parker is dead, but they find him hanging on the building. Fancy Dan shoots at Parker, but his Spider-Sense alerts him to it and lets him get out of the way in time. He uses the broken tubes from his Web-Shooters to whip Fancy Dan, but Marko hits Parker by throwing a metal trash can. Marko and Fancy Dan prepare to finish Parker, but Parker catches Fancy Dan's punch and redirects him to be in the way of Marko's. He absorbs the full force of Marko's punch with his arms, frightening Marko. Parker declares that he will protect New York City from anyone in Marko's line of work and knocks him out, embracing the shortened name "Spider-Man."[12][18]
- Manfredi talks to Herman, satisfied that the news stations will no longer report on the data leak. Parker then returns and throws Marko and Fancy Dan on the floor in front of Silvermane, demanding that he call off his lawyer's legal threats. Silvermane does not want to, but Parker simply moves closer to Silvermane before he gets on the phone and calls Herman to call it off. Parker breaks Silvermane's phone and comments that he will have the best hair in prison.[12][18]
- Parker goes to the O'Hara Residence and enters Minoru's room while she watches the news report on the revelations about Manfredi. She sees Parker's injuries, and Parker claims that fell down the stairs running from security. They celebrate their victory, but agree it is best not to let anyone know what happened. Minoru asks if the revelation will save Midtown High School, and Parker says that they will have to find out.[12][18]
- Parker returns home and claims to have been at the library. He purposefully trips so that May Parker does not question his injuries. May wants to take Peter to an urgent care, but Peter assures May that he is alright. May insists on watching television with her, and Parker attempts to convince May to watch a science fiction series, but May insists on watching The Ultimate Bachelor, which he claims is growing on him.[12][18]

- ↑ In Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Nico Minoru reveals the interview with Brent on her first day at Rockford T. Bales High School, suggesting that it happened prior to the start of school, but not too soon before since Brent appears to be the same age. In the interview, Brent says "Then there's what I've got going on with his sister when she comes home from college..." which suggests that the interview occurred during a college semester, so not during the summer. It can therefore be taken that Brent's interviewed occurred in the previous school semester, the midpoint of which can be approximated to April 1, 2015.

- ↑ In Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Peter Parker says to May Parker, "Haven't we both spent enough time in hospitals for a while?", implying that Ben Parker's death was recent when he says it on September 8, 2015 (see other references). This is corroborated by Amazing Fantasy, in which Peter says, "It'll be nice, you know, to have something to distract from everything else that's been goin' on" and "Things have been... different without having Uncle Ben around, but you've always been here for me. You have always had my back." However, in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Parker says, "At my old school, I was the kid everyone ignored until they wanted someone to copy from or shove into a locker. Then, for a hot minute, I was 'that poor kid whose uncle died,' which was worse," meaning that Ben must have died during the previous school year. Together, this implies that Ben died toward the end of the school year, around May or June. Ben's death can be approximated to the midpoint of this time, June 1, 2015. Funerals on average happen five days after the death, so Ben's funeral can be placed on June 6, 2015.

- ↑ In Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Nico Minoru says, "I looked at [Midtown High School] as a chance to start over after leaving L.A., you know?" This implies that the 2014-2015 school year had already ended by the time she moved, since her new school after leaving Los Angeles would have been Midtown High. In 2015, New York City schools ended on June 26. With Midtown High School orientation placed on September 8, 2015 (see other references), it can be taken that Minoru moved at the midpoint of these dates, August 2, 2015.
- ↑ In Scorpion Rising, Harry Osborn says, "I crashed my dad's Audi the first time I tried to drive." Osborn is sixteen when he says this, and in New York, people earn their learner's permits at sixteen years old. It can therefore be taken that this occurred around the time of his sixteenth birthday, August 2015.

This already sets its events as happening at different times in the Norman Osborn-Mentored Spider-Man universe than in the main universe of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, since in Captain America: Civil War, Parker says that he has had his powers for six months by June 2016 (see 2016 references), placing his origin in December 2015, whereas in this universe it is in September 2015. This sequence is followed by a time jump to “A FEW MONTHS LATER” in which the main events of the series take place. In Amazing Fantasy and Hero or Menace, a sign advertising a video game which is expected to release in “SPRING 2016” is shown, placing the events of the series preferably before then. In Tangled Web and Hero or Menace, Peter and May Parker are shown to be watching an actively airing season of The Bachelor, which in 2016 aired from January 4-March 14, 2016. Furthermore, Nico Minoru says to Peter in Hero or Menace, “Seeing you today, watching you save people and not even thinking about the risk to yourself... I saw a hero. The same one that saved me last year at Midtown.” These pieces of evidence support that, despite Lonnie Lincoln's story centering around being set during the high school football season, which would be in the fall, the series' events must be set in 2016, a new calendar year since Peter saved Minoru and during the airing time of The Bachelor.
In Tangled Web, Peter Parker visits Pearl Pangan's house at “12:14 PM” according to Pangan's cell phone, suggesting that it is not a school day. However, Pangan says to Parker, “Kind of looks like you had a rough weekend,” suggesting that the weekend is over and it is not a weekday. To keep the events of Amazing Fantasy after the time jump as close as possible to being “A FEW MONTHS” after September 2015, it can be taken that this scene occurs on President's Day, February 15, 2016, when American schools have off on a Monday, and that orientation is as late as possible, September 8, 2015. Working backwards using the natural progression of time in the season, this places Phil Grayson warning Lincoln about missing practice on February 9, 2016. Immediately after this scene, Pangan tells Lincoln that she has been lying about his absences for “the last week,” suggesting it has been approximately one week since Lincoln joined the 110th Street Gang. The scenes between then and Lincoln joining can therefore be stretched back, placing Lincoln joining the gang on February 3, 2016.
Working further back, Minoru would tell Parker on Friday, January 29, 2016, that he had been upset about Pangan and Lincoln starting to date “for a week,” which ideally would place Parker's discovery that they were dating on Monday, January 25, 2016. However, the same day Parker discovers their relationship, he rescues Harry Osborn, which is described as having been “a few weeks” before Parker's dinner with Norman Osborn on February 2, 2016. On that day, Eberhardt says to her class, “Following our discussions yesterday, we'll be turning our attention towards solving rational inequalities such as these,” placing this on a school day that is not Monday, since they had school the previous day. She goes on to say, “And before you even consider raising your hand to ask me, yes, these will be on the test on Friday,” suggesting that it is not Thursday, when she would have said “tomorrow,” or Friday. To best satisfy all this evidence, the first day of events after the time jump can be placed on Wedensday, January 20, 2016.
For the days following President's Day, the scene demonstrating Parker and Minoru's friendship having healed can be taken to occur on the next school day after they made up, February 22, 2016. Finally, as Finesse receives Harry Osborn's invitation to W.E.B., a full moon is shown, so Osborn's invitations can be taken to have happened on the day of the next full moon, March 8, 2016. - ↑ 11.00 11.01 11.02 11.03 11.04 11.05 11.06 11.07 11.08 11.09 11.10 Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man: 1.01: Amazing Fantasy

That night, Parker and Nico Minoru agree to go to Midtown High at midnight, placing those events on September 9. Issue 2 then picks up soon after the end of issue 1, then cuts to “A FEW DAYS LATER.” The comic then cuts again to “TWO DAYS LATER,” when Minoru tells Parker that they will be starting at Rockford T. Bales High School on Monday. Since the cage match is hosted by a high school student, it can be taken that it happens on the nearest weekend day, September 12, and that the Monday in which Minoru and Parker start high school is September 21. Throughout issue 3, Parker spends a week in a school, then the final panel of issue 3 occurs an undefined amount of time later. The climax of the comic then set themselves on a school day, and seemingly the next school after then is Monday, placing the climax on a Friday. To stretch the amount of time and make the “WEEKS EARLIER” more accurate, it can be taken that the final panel of issue 3 is the Sunday after their week in school, September 27, and the climax of the comic occurs the next Friday, October 2 and its epilogue on the next Monday, October 5.
- ↑ In Secret Identity Crisis, Peter Parker says, "The day I got these powers, I wasn't sure why." Although he received his powers on September 8, 2015 (see other references), Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man shows that he did not fully realize the powers until after midnight on September 9. It can therefore be taken that parker questioned his abilities during the day on September 9, 2015.

- ↑ In Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Peter Parker says on September 12, 2015 (see other references) that he researched his codename. He only received his powers on September 8 and was occupied the early hours of September 9, so it can be taken that Parker researched at the mid point of this range, placing it on September 10, 2015.

- ↑ 19.0 19.1 Amazing Fantasy begins before the start of school in the 2015 school year, placing the prologue in September 2015. The episode then features a time skip to “A FEW MONTHS LATER,” placing it in early 2016. In Hitting the Big Time, only “a few weeks” after the time jump, a news report shows the Battle of Leipzig-Halle Airport, which in Captain America: Civil War is shown to occur in June 2016 (see 2016 references). Therefore, it must be taken that the Battle of Leipzig-Halle Airport in the Norman Osborn-Mentored Spider-Man Universe occurred earlier than in the main universe of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, placing it as occurring at the same time as Hitting the Big Time and its preceding episodes.
