- A Kree scout ship reports Skrull activity on the planet Aphos Prime, but is destroyed, leaving no survivors. The higher-ups in the Kree Empire get concerned, realizing it is likely connected to Peer Kaal testing the Axiom Cannon. Not wanting to risk the entire Starforce, they decide on a two-person scouting mission.[70][71]
- Yon-Rogg meets with Vers and Minn-Erva to start a briefing about a mission to Aphos Prime, telling them it is a routine reconnaissance mission. He tells them about the scout ship, and Vers starts asking questions less than a minute into the meeting. Yon-Rogg tasks them with finding out the strength of the Skrull force on the planet and reporting back without engaging. Vers suggests that the Skrulls would start fighting them and asks why warriors from Starforce would be sent on a reconnaissance mission, leading to an argument when Minn-Erva scolds Vers for questioning orders. Yon-Rogg interrupts the argument by saying that the orders came from the Supreme Intelligence, so Vers says she understands.[70][71]
- After the briefing, Vers reflects on her struggle to befriend Minn-Erva when she is approached by Yon-Rogg, who tells her that they need to follow the Supreme Intelligence's orders without question. Yon-Rogg tells Vers that their mission is more important than she knows, so Vers suggests that they should simply stop the Skrulls' plan. Yon-Rogg assures Vers that it will happen soon and tells her to consider the mission a test, leading Vers to deduce that he was testing her and Minn-Erva. Yon-Rogg refuses to confirm her suspicion.[70][71]
- A Kree fighter is prepared for Vers and Minn-Erva, removing the external weapons so that an engine can be added, allowing fast enough travel to avoid the Skrulls.[70][71]
- Minn-Erva and Vers approach Aphos Prime, avoiding detection due to their fighter's speed. They speed into the planet's atmosphere, causing the fighter to bounce. Minn-Erva asked is Vers is confident in her ability, to which Vers responds that she can fly anything. Gases from under the ship dissipate as Vers prepares to crash, much to Minn-Erva's dismay. The ship crashes, and Minn-Erva sarcastically comments about them being alive.[70][71]
- Minn-Erva opens the hatch without ensuring it is safe, frustrating Vers. They exit the ship and realize that the planet is covered in mud, resulting in them becoming drenched in it. Minn-Erva tells Vers that there is no chacne the Skrulls detected them, which Vers claims was nearly a thank-you, although Minn-Erva denies it. Minn-Erva tries to use a Skrull Detector but finds that the tracker was not showing any Skrulls present. They disagree on whether they could have been detected, when the tracker shows multiple targets again before turning. Vers suggests that the planet is interfering with the tracker and cloaks their ship before they start going toward the Skrulls.[70][71]
- Minn-Erva checks the Skrull Detector again, but finds no new signal. Vers points out that they will need visual confirmation, which will likely lead to a fight, but Minn-Erva suggests that she simply wants a fight and reminds her of their orders not to engage. Vers asks why Minn-Erva does not like her, prompting Minn-Erva to call her childish before explaining that she views Vers as reckless and dangerous. She tells Vers to follow her lead, upsetting Vers. They continue walking in silence.[70][71]
- An hour later, Vers wonders why the Skrulls would be interested in the barren planet. The Skrull Detector came to life and found three Skrulls nearby. Minn-Erva nad Vers kneel, and Minn-Erva hesitantly agrees that they need visual confirmation and to enter combat.[70][71]
- Vers reaches the top of the mountain and sees three Skrulls, but gets seen by them as well as the Skrulls fire at her. Vers returns to the bottom and convinces Minn-Erva to let her scare them off. Vers uses her photon abilities to fly to the top and blast the Skrulls. One tries to recover, but she hits it again. Vers returns to Minn-Erva and assures her that they will think twice before attacking, but they are then approached by a hovercraft.[70][71]
- Vers and Minn-Erva crawl through the mud and argue about who is responsible for their situation. The shooting increases as Vers looks over a wall, seeing eight Skrulls firing and one keeping watch. A Skrull nearly hits Vers, but she returns to Minn-Erva in time and tells her the number of Skrulls. The two agree that more would be coming and hesitate to acknowledge their agreement. They plan for Vers to take down the hovercraft while Minn-Erva handles the eight Skrulls.[70][71]
- Vers goes back to the top of the hill and sees the pilot of the hovercraft tell the Skrulls to attack. She vaporizes the ship while Minn-Erva lays suppressive fire. With the hovercraft destroyed, Vers takes her sidearm and joins Minn-Erva in firing. Minn-Erva comments on Vers not using her powers, and Vers offers to keep the Skrulls pinned while Minn-Erva ambushes them. Minn-Erva says that she is a better shot, and the two start hearing a strange sound and notice the mud bubbling around them. A Skrull floats out of the mud, and the two believe him to be dead before he starts clawing at Vers, begging for help. Vers jumps back and the Skrull is dragged under the mud. Vers and Minn-Erva hear the Skrulls which were shooting at them getting pulled under as well.[70][71]
- Vers and Minn-Erva agree to leave, and they slide down the hill. They notice the fround bubbling around then and start moving toward their ship. Vers asks why the Skrulls would want a planet that kills everything that lands on it, so Minn-Erva suggests that they want it as a weapon. The mud bubbles again and starts to foam, prompting Vers to deduce that it is alive. The ground start shifting, which Vers suggests is a defense mechanism. Minn-Erva starts firing at the mud, making the bubbles come faster. Minn-Erva gets pulled under, despite Vers' attempt to help pull her out. Vers realizes that firing at the mud will not help, but realizes that the Skrull surviving being under meant something was likely under the surface, so she lets herself sink on purpose.[70][71]
- In a cavern under the surface, Vers and Minn-Erva return to consciousness and find Vers' foot to be on Minn-Erva's head. Vers removes it and Minn-Erva uses the targeting laser on her weapon as a light. They taken in their surroundings and wonder how and why they are able to breathe. Vers sees the vines on the wall pulsing and suggests that they are blood vessels, prompting sarcasm from Minn-Erva. Vers says that they will need to work together, but Minn-Erva realizes that they are not alone as a Skrull emerges through the wall.[70][71]
- Minn-Erva aims her weapon at the Skrull, who begs them to save him. The women hesitantly agree, and Vers and Minn-Erva pull him out while threatening him. Minn-Erva asks why they are there, but the Skrull refuses to speak. Vers points out that the Skrull is dying, and the Skrull calls them weak since he would have killed them if the situation were reversed. Vers recognizes the Skrull as the same one who appeared to them on the surface, guessing that he was trapped as well and offering help escaping, surprising Minn-Erva. However, Vers explained that the Skrulls' ability to navigate the mud would be useful, which Minn-Erva agreed with before threatening him. The Skrull describes the planet as a cancer, explaining that it is the remains of Aphos Prime. This makes Vers realize that she and Minn-Erva were sent because the Kree were unsure of what happened to the planet.[70][71]
- Vers asks whether the Skrulls were responsible, but the Skrull insists that they know as little as the Kree. The Skrull starts coughing blood, so Vers asks how they can leave. The Skrull explains that the walls are weakest where they bubble, and that they can crawl their way up. Vers tells the Skrull to start despite his injury, so he climbs through and lifts himself into the wall. Minn-Erva says that she will go next and tells Vers to stay in the back and ensure they are not followed by others figuring out how to survive beneath the mud.[70][71]
- The trio find themselves in a long tube, when the Skrull falls face-first into the mud and says he needs to rest. Minn-Erva rolls him over and tells Vers that he will not survive. Vers, determined to bring him back to Hala for information, looks at the Skrull and realizes that his injury did not come from a blaster, but rather acid burn causing a hole in his stomach. Vers uses the Skrull's tunic to plug the hole and they continue crawling.[70][71]
- The Skrull, Minn-Erva, and Vers come across a large set of mud that does not leak into the vine through which they are crawling, confusing them. Vers looks up through the transluscent mud and recognizes their ship. She says that if they can climb up, they have a chance of leaving, but the Skrulls explains that it is not possible. Minn-Erva shoots the wall of mud, prompting the planet to angry and attack them with vines as mud oozes through the walls of the tunnel. At Minn-Erva's suggestion, Vers uses her abilities to cause the membrane to erupt, causing mud to flood them. She destroys the vines surrounding Minn-Erva and the Skrull and pulls them to the surface. She struggles to surface herself as vines grab her leg, but Minn-Erva destroys it. Vers blasts the surface, allowing her to escape.[70][71]
- Minn-Erva shoots at vines while Vers catches her breath inside the ship. Vers prepares the ship for take off and warns Minn-Erva to get inside, which Minn-Erva listens to. They take off as the planet screams, and Vers eyes the Skrull. Vers thanks Minn-Erva for saving her, prompting Minn-Erva to return the thank you. Vers laughs, commenting that she was right about Minn-Erva thanking her before their mission was over.[70][71]
- Vers and Minn-Erva return to Hala with the Skrull, where she asks what will happen to him. Yon-Rogg explains that the Skrull will be interrogated. Vers, unable to resist, asks whether Yon-Rogg knew about Aphos Prime before the mission, which Yon-Rogg denies. Vers prepares for her briefing with the rest of Starforce while Yon-Rogg secretly notes on his tablet that the test involving Aphos Prime and Peer Kaal is complete.[70][71]

14th[]
- Vers goes for a morning run on Hala, when she accidentally hits an old man. The man starts scolding her, but then notices the insignia on her Starforce Uniform and starts apologizing, taking responsibility. Vers insisted that it was her fault, but the man says that he should have paid more attention to his surroundings. He thanks Danvers for his service and leaves. Vers looks back to him before continuing to run.[70][71]
- Yon-Rogg attends a briefing in which he is told about Starforce's mission and is relieved to find that the meeting was short. However, he struggles with the mission he was assigned, assuring himself that Starforce is ready.[70][71]
- Yon-Rogg meets Vers outside his apartment, and the two jog to the gym together while Vers tells him about the old man, prompting him to note to himself that she seems unfocused. The two spar, and Vers continues joking with Yon-Rogg. Yon-Rogg defeats Vers and tells her that she needs to take things more seriously. Vers counters that she takes things seriously before throwing a towel in Yon-Rogg's face and kicking him in the neck.[70][71]
- Minn-Erva fires a weapon at a shooting range, receiving a perfect score which is reported as "maximum fatality." Att-Lass jokes that it could be a band name, prompting Minn-Erva to compare his joking attitude to Vers. Att-Lass says that he has faith in Vers, although Minn-Erva claims that faith is not enough as she shoots perfectly again. Att-Lass compliments her shooting, but get Minn-Erva threatens him to be quiet.[70][71]
- One hour later, Minn-Erva and Att-Lass check their weapons, when Att-Lass asks why Minn-Erva is hard on Vers. He guesses that it is because Vers is Yon-Rogg's favorite, noting that Minn-Erva used to be before Vers arrived. Minn-Erva explains that she would lay down her life for any member of Starforce, and that she is unsure of whether Vers would do the same. Att-Lass insists that Vers will pull her weight, and Minn-Erva simply replies that she had better before leaving.[70][71]
- Vers paces in the briefing chamber, worried that something strange is happening. Bron-Char suggests that strange is good, but Vers reminds him of a creature who bit them. Yon-Rogg arrives with Korath, followed by Minn-Erva and Att-Lass. Yon-Rogg explains that the war against the Skrulls is draining resources and that their plan is to end the war against Xandar. He explains that they were ordered to make contact with a Xandarian defector to obtain plans for a Xandarian weapon and ensure that the Kree remain in power after the peace. Yon-Rogg orders the group to prepare, and Korath watches everyone leave before leaving himself.[70][71]
- Minn-Erva asks if Vers is alright and admits that she is wondering when Vers will slip up. Vers flips Minn-Erva over her shoulder and insists that it will not happen. As Vers leaves, she hears Bron-Char and Att-Lass defend her to Minn-Erva. She walks down the hallway, wondering about Minn-Erva's words and their mission. Att-Lass approaches Vers and tries to comfort her. He explains that Yon-Rogg sees Vers as the most valuable whereas he used to see Minn-Erva the same way, prompting Vers to realize Att-Lass had thought about it a lot. Att-Lass explains it by saying that he cares about his team.[70][71]
- Vers goes to the hangar and notices that they are not flying in the Helion, prompting Yon-Rogg to explain that they need to be disguised to avoid getting recognized. Vers notices a woman getting into the cockpit, and Minn-Erva explains that she is a pilot who is familiar with the territory. Korath introduces her as Sun-Val and orders Vers to treat her as a member of Starforce. Vers salutes Korath, confusing him.[70][71]
- As the ship approaches Xandarian space, it is attacked by hostiles which Sun-Val identify as Kree. Vers suggests they fire back to avoid suspicion, which Yon-Rogg agrees with and passes the order to Sun-Val. As Sun-Val fires, a panel explodes, and the group hesitantly decide it was the result of them firing, but then they get hit. The ship gets hit, causing a hole to form in the hull as the base decompresses. Minn-Erva struggles to get out of her harness and watches as Vers manages to get free and activate the shield, preventing air from leaving. They enter Xandarian space and Yon-Rogg compliments Vers, making Minn-Erva wonder if she had misjudged Vers.[70][71]
- Sun-Val alerts the team that they have entered Sy'gyl's orbit, and Yon-Rogg reminds the team that they will hit the ground running. Vers asks what they will do if they encounter resistance, but Yon-Rogg simply tells them not to, despite Minn-Erva, Att-Lass, and Vers' protests. The group agrees to the order.[70][71]
- As Sun-Val enters Sy'gyl's upper atmosphere, she comments on the quality of the ship. Yon-Rogg makes fun of Korath having picked it, but Korath gets defensive. Att-Lass and Minn-Erva select guns, but Bron-Char insists that he only needs his fists. Sun-Val tells the rest that they will be alright and greets Vers, telling her not to worry about her and to stay focused. Yon-Rogg calls her over, and she leaves, mistrusting Sun-Val.[70][71]
- Yon-Rogg and Korath tell Vers that she will be infiltrating the compound alone, confusing him. Vers starts to question the orders, saying that Att-Lass is more suited for a stealth mission, but Korath scolds her for questioning orders. Yon-Rogg tells Korath to check on the weapons, and Vers asks if she is in trouble. Yon-Rogg reveals that the order to have Vers infiltrate the base was from the Supreme Intelligence, telling her that she may manage to succeed.[70][71]
- Vers joins the rest of Starforce, saying that they were simply reviewing the lay of the land and that Yon-Rogg wants to talk to Minn-Erva next. Minn-Erva does not trust Yon-Rogg going over the mission individually, but Bron-Char and Att-Lass defend him. Minn-Erva met with Yon-Rogg, who tells her to keep potential hostiles away from the rest of the team while they go on their assigned missions. He explains that while the rest of the team clear a path, Vers will infiltrate the base, which Minn-Erva suggests should be done by Att-Lass. Yon-Rogg looked at Minn-Erva, who decided to watch Vers carefully during the mission.[70][71]
- Starforce's freighter lands, Yon-Rogg looks out the mountain range containing the base Vers is intended to infiltrate, wondering why the Supreme Intelligence wants her to do it. He opens the ships hatch and tells the team that only Minn-Erva should take a weapon. He tells Minn-Erva to only fire if necessary and tells Sun-Val to stay with the ship and take off at the sign of trouble.[70][71]
- Att-Lass complains about the temperature as gas rises from the planet's surface, and Vers jokes about seeing the world in Starforce. Yon-Rogg instructs the team to stop talking and communicate with handle signals. Bron-Char suddenly spots something and motions to the group to stop, so Yon-Rogg sends Att-Lass to investigate. The group waits until Att-Lass returns, confirming that what Bron-Char saw was a Nova Corps ship.[70][71]
- The group continues moving forward while Minn-Erva sets herself up as a sniper. Yon-Rogg shows Vers a hologram of the bunker she will be infiltrating, which Vers and Att-Lass agree appears easy. Korath scolds Vers for not taking the mission seriously, but Yon-Rogg cuts him off and tells her to find the scientist Peer Kaal in the bunker. Minn-Erva tells Vers not to mess up using the comm-link, and Vers starts moving as Minn-Erva confirms that there are no enemies near her.[70][71]
- As Vers gets close to the compound, Minn-Erva gives her the clear to enter. She gets distracted thinking about Sun-Val and something that consistently draws her attention away, but focuses and tell Minn-Erva that she is about to enter the base. Minn-Erva wishes Vers luck, surprising Vers as she enters the base. She reports to Yon-Rogg that Vers is inside, and Yon-Rogg explains that she might not have a signal. Minn-Erva see three Nova Corpsman, so Yon-Rogg leaves with Bron-Char to deal with them, ordering Korath and Att-Lass to stay behind in case others arrive.[70][71]
- Vers finds the bunker to be empty, attempting to cover the smell. She sees a large rock and attempts to lift it before realizing that it needs to be turned, opening a small hole in the ground, which Vers enters.[70][71]
- Meanwhile, Sun-Val attempts to repair the damage hull, realizing how bad it is. She notes that the shield circuitry is fried and examines replacement hull plates, replacing the damaged one. She starts welding and hear Minn-Erva tell the others that she cannot see Yon-Rogg or Bron-Char. She listens as Korath responds that he cannot see them either, working on finishing an edge.[70][71]
- Vers finds herself in a hallway and attempts to communicate with her team, finding that she does not have a signal. She opens the first door, finding the room to be empty. After checking several more rooms, she finds Kaal, who is excited to see her and says that she is the plans.[70][71]
- After half an our of work, Sun-Val finishes patching the whole on the freighter. She hears a sharp noise in the trees and wonders how the amount of fire on the planet allows for trees to exist. She starts to focus on the patch again, when she hears another snap. She gets her pistol and cautiously approaches the noise, where she is killed by a Skrull.[70][71]
- Vers asks what Kaal means, so she clarifies that she is the only one who knows what the plans are. She explains that Sy'gyl is the direct result of the planet getting hit with the Axiom Cannon and gives Vers a data capsule containing the plans, refusing to go with the Kree. A Xandarian woman attacks and stabs Vers in the leg, intending to kill Kaal. Vers defends Kaal until an explosion destroys the bunker and Kaal is killed.[70][71]
- Minn-Erva tries unsuccessfully to communicate with Att-Lass and Korath and checks on the bunker, seeing no activity. She suddenly hears a high-pitched sound and tries to find the source, unsuccessfully. She looks up and recognizes a Stealth Bomb being dropped on the bunker. She warns Korath and Att-Lass and averts her eyes. As she starts to recover, she is joined by Att-Lass and Korath, and the latter orders them to leave the rest of their team behind and return to the freighter.
- Vers hears broken messages through her comm-link and realizes she is in danger. She struggles to right herself and attempts to assess her surroundings, attempting to determine if her attackers were with the Nova Corps. She slides on the ground and creates a makeshift tourniquet from her uniform.[70][71]
- Vers feels a sharp pain and gasps as she grabs at her leg. She looks to where her enemies were and finds that they are not there, so she attempts to stand and escape. However, her good leg buckles under her weight. She manages to stand and starts moving, wiping the blood from her leg to prevent herself from leaving a trail. Vers realizes that someone from the Nova Corps is approaching her and braces herself. She manages to grab his throat, and he says she is hurting him. The corpsman offers to help her escape, prompting Vers to release him and introduce himself as Rhomann Dey. Dey explains that he is there to help Starforce steal the plans to the Axiom Cannon, ordered by the parts of his government that both sides having the same technology would lead to peace. Vers acknowledges that betraying his own side is a mission worse than her own.[70][71]
- Dey asks if Vers can walk, which she insists she can before falling. She refuses Dey's help, but stops once Dey tells her she is entering a minefield. She rejoins Dey and the two start walking in the opposite direction.[70][71]
- Minn-Erva attempts to contact her missing teammates, but finds that the comm-link is dead. She suggests that Vers was compromised, surprising Att-Lass. Korath orders them to prepare the ship for take-off, although Att-Lass is hesitant. Minn-Erva starts getting the ship ready.[70][71]
- Dey asks where her extraction point is, noting that they would need to treat her leg before making the trip. Vers skeptically asks if Dey is a doctor, so Dey explains that he is trained in combat medicine and can stop her bleeding. Vers sits down and lets him treat her as she passes out. He stops the bleeding, puts a bandage on the wound, and gives her a pain medicine.[70][71]
- Fifteen minutes later, Vers wakes up as Dey tells her that he did what he could for her leg. Vers compliments his efforts and smells something, which Dey recognizes as a problem. They see volcanic gas and lava escaping a fissure in the ground and start moving through the forest. As Dey navigates them to a clear of all rocks, Vers asks why he is helping. Dey says that he does not believe in killing, promptnig Vers to realize he has never killed, which Vers says is not a bad thing. They are approached by a Xandarian warrior, who Dey explains is not with the Nova Corps.[70][71]
- Dey realizes that the Xandarian is playing with them, so Vers decides to play back. She stands up and blasts him with a photon blast, hitting the stump and sending him falling to the ground. Dey shows Vers as the Xandarian reveals himself to be a Skrull. Dey then explains that the Skrulls likely heard about Starforce's attempt to steal the weapon and came to steal it themselves. Vers decides to continue moving.[70][71]
- Dey questions the presence of vegetation despite the lava as the two reach Starforce's freighter. Dey stops and explains that he does not want to meet the rest of Starforce, and Vers realizes that Dey is hiding something. Dey admits that he knows why they were selected for the mission, explaining that they were the least likely of their respective teams to kill without question. Yon-Rogg, Bron-Char, and "Sun-Val" arrive, and Yon-Rogg dismisses Dey. Vers asks why "Sun-Val" is not at the freighter, and she claims that she was investigating a sound.[70][71]
- Vers, "Sun-Val," Yon-Rogg, and Bron-Char return to the freighter, when Minn-Erva aims her weapon at "Sun-Val." "Sun-Val" tries to kill Vers while Minn-Erva, Yon-Rogg, and Bron-Char warn her to get down. Vers falls as Minn-Erva kills, "Sun-Val," revealing that she is a Skrull. Minn-Erva and Att-Lass explain that they had found the real Sun-Val's body, and Yon-Rogg realizes that the Skrull wanted the plans for the weapon. Vers confirms that she received the plans.[70][71]
- As the freighter travels to Hala, Vers struggles to move, so Minn-Erva walks over and tells her not to due to her injuries. Minn-Erva and Vers compliment each other's work during the mission. Minn-Erva walks away and Yon-Rogg approaches Vers, telling her to go to the med-bay once they return to Hala. Vers tells Yon-Rogg that Dey had told her something about why she was chosen, but Yon-Rogg reminds her that Xandarians are not to be trusted. Yon-Rogg asks if what he said even matters before walking away, while Vers thinks to herself that it does.[70][71]

- Vers visits Yon-Rogg, her mentor and the leader of Starforce. They go to train, having a fight as he reminds her to let go of her past and keep her emotions in check if she wants to be a warrior.[194][4]
- Yon-Rogg takes Vers to see the Supreme Intelligence, telling her that it takes the form of whomever you admire the most, but refusing to say who it is he sees. He tells her that the Supreme Intelligence was the one who gave him the responsibility of showing her how to use the powers they supposedly gifted to her.[194][4]
- The Supreme Intelligence appears to Vers in the form of the woman from her dream, whom she does not remember from her forgotten past. It tells her that she is a victim of the Skrulls' expansion and that they saved her from them, but that her loss of memory might be a mercy, freeing her to do what a Kree must.[194][4]
- Starforce assembles for a mission. Korath tells Vers, Att-Lass, Bron-Char, and Minn-Erva about the time a Skrull simmed him and how scary it was, with Vers joking that it is because seeing his own unattractive face was too disturbing. Yon-Rogg briefs the team on their mission, search and rescue for their spy, Soh-Larr from a Skrull invasion on Torfa, led by the Skrull general Talos. He explains that the Accusers will bomb a Skrull stronghold and they will slip in, and should not interfere with the Torfa populace.[194][4]
- Ambush in Torfa:
- Starforce arrives on Torfa. They split up and head towards the temple from which Soh-Larr's beacon is emanating.[194][4]
- Starforce come across Torfan locals and try to prevent a fight. Minn-Erva prepares to shoot just in case, when Att-Lass tells her to put down her blaster. Minn-Erva then sees through her blaster scope, however, that Att-Lass is with the others on the ground, realizing that the man next to her is actually a Skrull simming him. She shoots him, with him reverting to his natural form as he dies.[194][4]
- Yon-Rogg leads a fight against the Torfans when they come to realize they are all disguised Skrulls.[194][4]
- Meanwhile, Vers finds Soh-Larr. However, he knocks out Vers, revealing himself to be Talos, and takes her back to his ship.[194][4]
- The Skrulls inspect Vers' memories, looking for traces of Mar-Vell. They trawl through memories in her subconscious that she does not otherwise remember and discover that she knew Mar-Vell under the guise of "Dr. Wendy Lawson", on Planet C-53.[194][4]
- Escape from the Skrulls' Ship:
- Vers awakens and breaks free of the constraints on her arms. With metal cylinders still stuck on her arms, she wallops the Skrull scientists and attacks Talos, asking what he has put in her head, but he tells her it was all already there.[194][4]
- Vers runs to escape and is cornered by Skrulls. She manages to fight her way out, however, and runs for an escape pod. Vers is ambushed by more Skrulls and tries to break off the metal cylinders, eventually cracking them with her powers, but accidentally causes a hull breach.[194][4]
- Running through the corridors, Vers comes back across the control room. She retrieves her boots, then commandeers an escape pod. Talos arrives and blasts it, but she gets away in the pod, albeit without proper control.[194][4]
- The damage causes the escape pod to be destroyed as it falls through the atmosphere of Planet C-53, which the Skrulls had traveled to in hopes of finding out about Mar-Vell's work. Vers is left in free-fall over C-53, better known as Earth.[194][4]
- Vers crash-lands through the roof of a Los Angeles Blockbuster, confused by her surroundings.[194][4]
- Vers asks a nearby security guard for help, who points her to a nearby RadioShack when she asks for communications equipment, wanting to contact Yon-Rogg.[194][4]
12th[]
- Talos and three other Skrulls emerge from a Los Angeles beach after landing on Planet C-53 themselves, and sim nearby surfers as disguises.[194][4]
- Having used RadioShack equipment to modify a payphone, Vers manages to communicate with Yon-Rogg and Starforce. She tells them about the Skrulls being after someone called Lawson, a scientist they believe has cracked the code to light-speed tech. The payphone runs out of money and she loses connection. Starforce head to a jump-point 22 hours away to get to C-53 themselves.[194][4]
- S.H.I.E.L.D. arrives, led by Agent R. Keller, to inspect the events of the night before, called in by the security guard. Agent Phil Coulson talks to the guard, while Agent Nick Fury approaches Vers to ask about the crash. Vers says she is from Starforce and after the Skrulls infiltrating his planet, to which he responds incredulously. Before he can try to arrest her, a Skrull nearby, still disguised as a surfer, shoots a blaster in their direction.[194][4]
- Chase of the Skrulls:
- Vers then pursues the Skrull through Los Angeles, while Fury and "Coulson" get in a car to follow. The Skrull boards a train, simming an old lady it sees alighting the vehicle. Vers follows into the train and searches, coming across the Watcher Informant as she does, while Fury and "Coulson" follow in their car.[194][4]
- Having seen the real old lady leave the train, when Vers sees the same lady on the train, she realizes it is the Skrull. She attacks and the woman fights back, confirming her suspicions. It drops the crystal containing copies of her subconscious memories, which she picks up. The Skrull then sims another passenger and escapes through the roof.[194][4]
- As Fury drives, he receives a call on his walkie-talkie from Phil Coulson, saying he is still at the Blockbuster Video and that everyone has left. Realizing Vers was telling the truth and that he is with a shape-shifter, Fury attacks just as the Skrull "Coulson" goes to attack him, veering the car off course.[194][4]
- The train pulls into the station and Vers looks for the Skrull in the crowd, but she is unsuccessful.[194][4]
- The Skrull "Coulson" is killed and reverts to its normal form, scaring Fury as he gets out of the car. Fury then quickly covers the Skrull's body and marks the scene of the accident under S.H.I.E.L.D. investigation.[194][4]
- Vers places the memory crystal into her Starforce Uniform gauntlet and plays some of the memories. They glitch and eventually stop working, but she manages to get a lead from seeing the word "Pegasus" in one, and "Pancho's" in the background of another.[194][4]
- Heading to an Internet cafe, Vers tries to look up Pancho's online, but the Internet connection breaks.[194][4]
- While looking for Pancho's on a map instead, a motorcyclist is rude to Vers, asking her to smile for his own pleasure. When he heads into the shop, she steals his motorcycle, then takes clothes from a mannequin.[194][4]
- Fury and "Keller" attend the examining of the dead Skrull's body. Fury tells him he has a lead on a motorcyclist fitting Vers' description and heads out to find her. Once he has left, "Keller", in fact Talos in disguise, wishes his deceased friend a safe journey to the beyond.[194][4]
- Vers drives to Pancho's Bar and asks about "Pegasus", but the bartender does not know what she means. Nick Fury steps out, revealing his presence, and they agree to prove to each other that they are not Skrulls.[194][4]
- Vers asks Fury questions about his past, since Skrulls can only sim recent memories. He answers without hesitation, proving himself. She then proves herself by firing a photon blast from her hand, and he agrees to take her to "Pegasus".[194][4]
- During the car journey, Vers insists to Fury that the Kree are noble warrior heroes and that the Skrulls are evil, invading planets. On arriving at the Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S. Joint Dark Energy Mission Facility, he announces his identity at the entrance to be allowed inside. When Vers is surprised by him having three parts to his name, he tells her that everyone simply calls him "Fury".[194][4]
- Fury and Vers ask for information on Dr. Wendy Lawson and are taken to a room to wait.[194][4]
- Inside the room, Fury gets out his pager. He claims he is only communicating with his mother, but is in fact contacting Keller for backup to detain Vers for information. He helps Vers break out of the room, using sticky tape to get fingerprints off an ID badge, activate the fingerprint scanner, and open the door.[194][4]
- The duo arrive at a lower level where records are held, and encounter what appears to be a cat. Fury is instantly enamored with her, checking her name tag and finding out she is called "Goose". Vers blasts open the door to secure records, leaving Fury bemused that she left him to do the hard work with sticky tape when she could have helped all along.[194][4]
- Looking through the records, they find that Dr. Wendy Lawson was indeed involved in making a light-speed engine, and Vers recognizes her writings as Kree glyphs. Fury discovers that she died in a test flight 6 years ago, in 1989, but the pilot is redacted. He mentions that there is a testament from the last person to see them alive, Maria Rambeau. Fury leaves, saying he will be back soon, and Vers looks through photos, finding one with herself in the background, climbing into a fighter jet.[194][4]
- Vers contacts Yon-Rogg again and asks what he knows about Lawson. He says he is only cleared to tell her some things, but explains that Lawson was an undercover Kree called Mar-Vell developing tech to help win the war.[194][4]
- Ambush at the Joint Dark Energy Mission Facility:
- Agent "Keller" turns up at the Joint Dark Energy Mission Facility, but when he commends Fury's work, he calls him Nicholas, arousing Fury's suspicions.[194][4]
- Vers continues that she remembers Lawson from Planet C-53, but Yon-Rogg cuts her off, saying she is letting her emotions cloud her judgement and that she must not let what might be Skrull interference in her brain get in her way.[194][4]
- Fury alludes to a fake mission with R. Keller in Havana to see how the agent responds, and when he claims to recall it, Fury's suspicions are confirmed that Keller is in fact a Skrull.[194][4]
- Yon-Rogg tells Vers to leave her beacon on so he can find her, and she ends the call.[194][4]
- Talos, disguised as Keller, is surprised to find no one on the floor Fury sent him to, with Fury having gone back to his previous floor to warn Vers. He is concerned, however, when he cannot find her.[194][4]
- As she leaves the archives, Vers overhears Phil Coulson and another agent, who are surprised to have heard they are supposed to take in Fury. She realizes Fury has been betrayed and might need her help.[194][4]
- Realizing Fury must have worked out who he was, Talos attacks the agent, and admits to being a Skrull. When he beats Fury down, Vers arrives and hits him with a photon blast. She and Fury then blast up to the next floor and run away.[194][4]
- On their way up the stairs, the duo are confronted by Coulson. However, putting his trust in Fury, Coulson lowers his gun and reports that the pair are not down where he is.[194][4]
- Fury and Vers get to the main hangar, and Vers has him hand over his pager after lying to her about how he used it. They commandeer a Quadjet and Vers finds she has sufficient piloting skills to fly it. The duo take off and get away, realizing that Goose has stowed away on board.[194][4]
- As they fly, Vers shows Fury the photograph of her she found, as well as telling him that her memories go back 6 years, so there is definitely a connection. They decide to find Rambeau to ask her about what happened.[194][4]
- Ronan the Accuser tells Yon-Rogg that he wishes to bomb the Skrulls, but the Starforce leader refuses, to Korath's confusion, saying they will sort the situation.[194][4]
- Vers turns up at the Rambeau Residence in Louisiana and asks after Maria Rambeau. She is greeted by Maria and her daughter, Monica, who hugs Vers and calls her "Auntie Carol", delighted to hear that she has been alive all this time.[194][4]
- Monica Rambeau goes to get Auntie Carol's things, which she and her mother have kept, and Fury goes to help. Maria is left to talk to Vers and they reconnect, with Maria reminding her of some of the events of the morning of the crash. She also rediscovers some of the connection with her best friend, as they start to spark off each other again. Maria tells her that she found it very hard not even be able to acknowledge the mission in which her best friend supposedly died, and that it hurts that she cannot remember who she is or even her name.[194][4]
- Monica Rambeau shows Vers photos they have of her across her life, telling her that she did not get along with her family and they had become her surrogate family instead and showing memories from over the years that they have spent as a trio. Maria hands her the only thing found at the crash: half of her dogtag, saying "Carol Dan-", with the other half, taken with her, having said "-vers" and being the origin of her supposed name.[194][4]
- The Rambeaus' neighbour, Tom, comes to the door, and Vers - now knowing her name to be Carol Danvers - answers, suspicious that he is Talos in disguise. Maria Rambeau closes the door, but when they turn around they find that while Tom was not a Skrull, Talos is in fact inside, waiting for them. Talos reveals that his associate, Norex, is simming Maria outside to trick Monica. He says he needs them to listen, explaining that when he imprisoned Danvers he had not yet come to realize what makes her different from the other Kree, but now, having obtained the black box from the 1989 crash using his shape-shifting for clearance, he has new information that she will also be interested to hear.[194][4]
- The group put Talos' black box disc into the Rambeaus' computer and play the audio from the 1989 test flight. It triggers the rest of Danvers' memories of the day. She recalls how she had flown with Dr. Lawson in the back and they were shot down by an attacking ship, how Lawson had revealed herself as an undercover alien and been shot by the pilot of the attacking ship: Yon-Rogg, and had to destroy the light-speed engine to stop him from getting it, unintentionally absorbing its power.[194][4]
- Talos tells Danvers that the Kree have been oppressing the Skrulls all this time, ever since they resisted Kree rule and the Kree destroyed their home planet. He says that Mar-Vell's light-speed engine would have got them to a new home and safety, and asks for Danvers' help in finding the core that powered the engine. Confused about her identity and what to believe, Danvers is unsettled until Maria Rambeau reminds her how much she cared about her, and how great and strong of a person "Carol Danvers" always was. Relieved, Danvers embraces her old best friend.[194][4]
- Danvers tells Talos that the reason he could not decipher the location of Mar-Vell's laboratory was that it was not given by coordinates but state vectors, since it is in orbit, not on Earth. They decide to calculate its position based on where they know it was in 1989 and the vectors.[194][4]
- Maria Rambeau is reluctant to leave Monica behind, but Monica convinces her that she will be fine staying home with her grandparents, saying that what her mother is doing is important and she really wants her to go. Maria eventually gives in.[194][4]
- Maria Rambeau's parents arrive to look after Monica. Danvers goes to speak to Monica, revealing that she remembers her past with the girl and calling her "Lieutenant Trouble", as she always used to. She shows Monica the color-changing controls on her Starforce uniform, intended for camouflage, and has her modify the suit so she can leave behind the Kree colors. They eventually agree on a red, blue, and gold design to match Monica's United States Air Force T-shirt.[194][4]
13th[]
- Assassination of Norex:
- Yon-Rogg arrives in Louisiana and finds what appears to be Vers. He engages her in a Skrull test and while she responds correctly initially, she is unable to reply when he asks her whose blood is in her veins. Realizing it is a Skrull, Yon-Rogg shoots "her" and the Skrull, Norex, reverts to his normal form as he dies. Yon-Rogg reveals that the answer was his - his blood is what Danvers was transfused with, and comes to realize that Danvers has discovered the truth of her past. He contacts Ronan the Accuser, telling him to attack C-53.[194][4]
- Carol Danvers, Maria Rambeau, Nick Fury, Talos, and Goose fly upwards in the Quadjet, modified by Norex for space capabilities. They break through the atmosphere into space to the apparent location of Mar-Vell's laboratory, but can see nothing. However, Danvers guesses that the lab is using cloaking technology and deactivates it from her suit, revealing it before them.[194][4]
- The group board the laboratory and find the core of the light-speed engine: the Tesseract, which Lawson had acquired while working for Howard Stark's Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S.. Danvers takes the cube and Talos calls out a Skrull cry. A group of scared Skrulls come out from hiding places, including Talos' wife, Soren, and daughter. Danvers realizes that Mar-Vell had been taking care of Skrull refugees, including Talos' family, while waiting to take them to their new home, and they had been left aboard after her death, now understanding Talos' motivation to find the lab. Soren tells Talos that Mar-Vell had instructed them not to send out a signal as the Kree could find them, and he tells her she did the right thing, embracing his wife and daughter after 6 years apart. He tells Danvers that there are thousands of other Skrulls separated from each other, scattered throughout the galaxy.[194][4]
- Yon-Rogg enters with the rest of Starforce and expresses his disgust at her altered uniform. She confronts him for lying to her and starts to activate her powers, but he turns on the Photon Inhibitor implanted in her neck and knocks her out, taking her friends captive and the Happy Days lunchbox containing the Tesseract.[194][4]
- Starforce plug Danvers in to talk to the Supreme Intelligence again. Danvers threatens to blast her, but the Supreme Intelligence also activates her inhibitor, mocking her for never having had the ability to control her powers herself.[194][4]
- Att-Lass scans Goose and, hearing she is a Flerken, puts a muzzle over her mouth, confusing Fury as to why it would be necessary. Minn-Erva says to load Goose onto the Helion and eject the others into space.[194][4]
- The Supreme Intelligence tells Danvers that she is nothing without what the Kree have done for her, showing her memories of times she has failed in her life and belittling her as only human. Danvers takes this, however, and insists that being human is enough, instead remembering all those times as moments where she has got back up and persevered, a human trait she is proud of. The Supreme Intelligence says she was reborn on Hala as "Vers", but Danvers replies defiantly that her name is "Carol", resisting the Supreme Intelligence.[194][4]
- Danvers' powers start to activate in the real world despite her status, and it causes electrical surges on the Helion that deactivate Fury and Rambeau's handcuffs and start to break the electrical gate to the Skrulls' cell.[194][4]
- Knowing that the Kree have been inhibiting her rather than helping her, Danvers manages to break off the Photon Inhibitor and set herself free, achieving full "Binary" form as she attains the ability to manipulate cosmic energy throughout her body and glows.[194][4]
- Danvers escapes the Supreme Intelligence bindings, takes back the Tesseract lunchbox, and escapes to find Fury and Rambeau. She tries to hand Fury the Tesseract, wanting to hold onto the lunchbox as a decoy while they get it to safety, but before they can agree, Goose opens her mouth and giant tentacles come out, consuming the Tesseract easily into one of her internal pocket dimensions. Fury is shocked, having not believed Goose was not just a cat, and cautiously picks her up as Danvers leaves.[194][4]
- Yon-Rogg and Starforce confront Carol Danvers, prepared to fight for the Tesseract, which they assume is still in the lunchbox. They run at her on a bridge, but she punches it in the center and it collapses, causing them to fall.[194][4]
- Fury and Rambeau find themselves stopped by Kree soldiers, but Goose opens her mouth, unleashing the tentacles again and consuming them all.[194][4]
- Battle at Mar-Vell's Laboratory:
- Bron-Char attacks Danvers first, but she easily blasts him away, then blasting another two soldiers, finding herself slightly unstable as she gets used to her new abilities. Korath assaults Danvers but she manages to break his weapon and kick him away. Minn-Erva follows and picks up a gun, but when she shoots, she finds that she has simply picked up a toy Nerf weapon. Bron-Char returns and hits Danvers from behind with an arcade game. She blasts through it to hit him, but Att-Lass pins her down and she drops the lunchbox.[194][4]
- As Nick Fury and Maria Rambeau run, they are stopped by Kree guards escorting the Skrull prisoners.[194][4]
- Danvers fires a photon blast forward to drive her backwards, slipping from Att-Lass' grip. She lets off two beams of energy to take out the remaining attackers, still amazed by her power.[194][4]
- Fury, Rambeau, and Goose are taken with the escort to be ejected into space, but one of the guards surreptitiously reveals to Fury that he is Talos in disguise.[194][4]
- Yon-Rogg uses his Magnitron Gauntlets to manipulate nearby metal and knock Danvers down.[194][4]
- Talos shoots the other Kree guards and ushers everyone onto the Quadjet in the hangar.[194][4]
- Yon-Rogg pins Danvers to the wall, but she manages to break out. The lunchbox drops open, however, revealing the diversion. Yon-Rogg runs to stop the others as the rest of Starforce resuming fighting.[194][4]
- The Starforce leader shoots into the Quadjet as the doors close, hitting Talos in the shoulder.
- Danvers defeats her former teammates and runs to catch up with Yon-Rogg.[194][4]
- Maria Rambeau pilots the Quadjet away from Kree fire, using its guns to explode the Starforce ship as they get away to safety. Yon-Rogg asks Minn-Erva to follow them in a drop-ship.[194][4]
- Fury takes Talos' hand as he struggles. Rambeau reports a bogey following them, as Minn-Erva gives chase in a drop-ship.[194][4]
- Yon-Rogg boards a drop-shop himself, but Danvers jumps onto the back of it as he exits Mar-Vell's laboratory.[194][4]
- Minn-Erva shoots at the Quadjet and Rambeau has to maneuver to dodge the blasts.[194][4]
- Yon-Rogg manages to knock Danvers off his drop-ship and she starts to free-fall, only to find that with her fully unlocked powers, she can fly.[194][4]
- Rambeau flies the Quadjet through a canyon, taking advantage of the canyon's terrain and her superior piloting skills to lose Minn-Erva in the narrows of the canyon, then surprise the Kree warrior and shoot her out of the sky.[194][4]
- The Quadjet leaves the canyon only to then be shot at by Yon-Rogg, but Danvers flies up to him and punches the ship with a fistful of energy, causing it to crash-land.[194][4]
- Danvers turns to see the Accusers arriving with a fleet of warships through the Universal Neural Teleportation Network. Ronan commands to deploy the ballistic warheads.[194][4]
- As Kree missiles head to Earth, Danvers flies up to the first one and catches it in her hands. She manages to push hard and, flying hard in the opposite direction, slow it to a halt, then pushing it back at the other incoming missiles. It starts a chain of explosions, detonating the missiles safely in mid-air.[194][4]
- The Accusers deploy attack ships but Danvers easily blasts them aside and breaks through them, unfazed by anything in her way. She goes on to fly directly through an Accuser warship, exploding it, and flies before Ronan to send a message. She punches her fist into a hand, letting off a boom of energy and serving to intimidate the Accusers. Ronan decides to return to the jump point, saying they will be back for the weapon: not the Tesseract, but Danvers.[194][4]
- Danvers returns to Earth to confront Yon-Rogg. He prepares to fight, but then puts his weapon away, using belittling language to try to coax her into giving him a chance by saying that she has to "prove" herself by fighting without her powers. Danvers merely blasts him, then walking over and tells her old mentor that she simply has nothing to prove to him.[194][4]
- Danvers drags Yon-Rogg back into his drop-ship and programmes it to fly to Hala, telling him to pass on the message to the Supreme Intelligence that she is coming to end the war, the lies, and everything else. She blasts the exhaust to get it running and it flies away.[194][4]
- As they fly in the Quadjet, Nick Fury holds Goose in front of him and talks to her, having grown to trust her too hastily. She lashes out, severely scratching his left eye and leaving it blind.[194][4]
- Carol Danvers, Nick Fury, Maria Rambeau, Talos, and Soren sit for dinner together at the Rambeau Residence, while Monica talks to G'iah. Danvers promises to help the Skrulls find a new home, to take on Mar-Vell's role and finish her work. Monica excitedly says she would love to fly to space to see Danvers, though Fury points out she would have to learn to glow the way Danvers does. Monica adds that she could perhaps build a spaceship instead.[194][4]
- Danvers and Fury wash dishes after dinner, and Fury accidentally calls Mar-Vell "Marvel". When Danvers corrects him, he maintains that Marvel sounds better. Danvers gives Fury back his pager, which she has modified to have a range across galaxies so he can contact her, but stressing that it should only be in a case of extreme emergency.[194][4]
- Monica Rambeau gives Danvers back her aviator jacket and Danvers says a sad goodbye to her friends. She then flies to space, finding she can safely breathe in the vacuum when using her powers, and flies alongside the Skrulls in search of their new home.[194][4]

- Coulson reports that they have not yet found the Tesseract, but Fury says he is sure it will turn up, looking over at Goose, sitting in his office, still with the Tesseract inside her. Fury tells Coulson they need to find more superpowered beings that could protect Earth in case other extraterrestrial threats appear. Initially calling his idea the "Protector Initiative", when he looks at a picture of Danvers in her piloting days on his desk, he is inspired to name the initiative after her - specifically her Air Force callsign, "Avenger". The Avengers Initiative is born.[194][4]

Trivia[]
- In the film Spider-Man: Homecoming there is a scene where Spider-Man tries to apprehend Vulture's men in the Staten Island Ferry, the director Jon Watts pointed out at a mistake that occurred creating that action sequence: “The only real flaw is that there are cars on the ferry, and there haven’t been cars allowed since the ’90s. So I’ll declare that in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, they never had these rules.” This proves that the reality from the Marvel Cinematic Universe sometimes differs from the real world reality.[315]

February 1990 (see other references), making Ducasse's date of birth c. February 1990. Eka Darville's age at the times of filming Jessica Jones: Season 1, The Defenders: Season 1, and Jessica Jones: Season 2, working back from the times of filming, would place Ducasse's date of birth a little earlier, around February 1989, so it can be assumed that due to the slight leniency of the comment, Ducasse is slightly older than Phillip Jones, born around January 1990.

His date of death is April 13, 2000 (see 2000s references), meaning he was born between January 1, 1990 and April 13, 1990, making his date of birth approximately February 1990.

With his date of birth approximated to November 1977 (see 1970s references), specifically November 20, 1977, the middle of Jones' time as a 12-year-old (as an approximation for when he met Dillard) would be May 21, 1990.
- ↑ In Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Alexander Pierce says that the photo he is holding "was taken 5 years after Nick and [he] met". The photo being taken is dated to approximately May 12, 1995 (see other references), so this would suggest approximately May 12, 1990 for when they met. However, it may more roughly just mean "1995 - 1990 = 5", so any time in 1990 (using mid-21990 as an approximation). Putting more weight in the specific date than just the year, a weighted calculation gives roughly May 24, 1990 for when they met.

- ↑ In Heart of the Dragon, the credits say the flashback Danny Rand and Davos are "13 year old Danny" and "13 year old Davos". Similarly, in A Duel of Iron, they are credited as "12 Year Old Danny" and "12 Year Old Davos". This means that Rand and Davos overlap in age. In The Fury of Iron Fist, Davos calls Rand "little brother", so he is older. With Rand born on April 1, 1991 (see other references), this means Davos was born between April 2, 1990 and April 1, 1991. With Sacha Dhawan's ages at the times of filming Iron Fist: Season 1 and Season 2, working back from the settings, his age would suggest Davos being born closer to 1983, so this would imply that Davos was born closer to April 2, 1990 than April 1, 1991. It can be calculated that he was born roughly around August 1990.

However, Hannah Hardin's age at the time of filming Lotus Eaters, working back from the February 2009 setting, would suggest Mina Hess was born around May 1993 and is 15 in the flashback. Taking a weighted average, overall Mina Hess' date of birth can be placed around September 1990, making her 18 in the flashback and 26-27 in present events.

W'Kabi later says, "For 30 years your father was in power and did nothing," referring to Klaue, and to the time that spanned between his attack and T'Chaka's death, dated to June 22, 2016. As well as this, W'Kabi says in a deleted scene, on July 4, 2016, that when it comes to Klaue, for "30 years, there's been no justice". All of these, coupled with the attack being seemingly recent in the "1992" scenes, would suggest the attack as having happened around the late 1980s. However, the Marvel Studios Visual Dictionary and Marvel Studios' The Marvel Cinematic Universe: An Official Timeline both place the attack as happening in 1992, the same year as N'Jobu's death, going against the statements placing it 30 years before the events of Black Panther. It is 18:41 and sunset in Mauna Kea, and the two times in the year when sunset in Mauna Kea is 18:41 are around April 20th and August 26th each year. Therefore, it is most likely August 26, 1992. However, in the scene, one other student says to another, "Dude, have you seen Reservoir Dogs yet?" Reservoir Dogs got its limited release in the U.S. on October 9, 1992, so this scene has to be after then - the phrasing implying at least a couple of days. Therefore, the earliest possible this scene can be is October 11, 1992. This earliest possible date should be used for it to be as close as possible to the August 26th date for the sunset, so the scene is dated to October 11, 1992.

The dating app would have been gather the evidence the day before, suggesting that she was 32 years old on both days, meaning Walters would have been between June 13, 1992 and June 11, 1993. Walters' birth can be approximated to the midpoint of these dates, December 1992.

With Walker's date of birth approximated to June 1985 (see 1980s references), specifically June 25/26, 1985, this would be between June 25/26, 1992 and June 24/25, 1993, so around December 24/25, 1985. It can therefore be approximated to December 23, 1985, to avoid Christmas, which would otherwise likely come up in the story.

With her date of birth approximated to April 1984 (see 1980s references), specifically April 17, 1984, and Pop's arrest approximated to April 24, 1993 (see other references), she has to have met him between April 17, 1993 and April 24, 1993. She likely met him closer to the 17th than 24th, as her meeting him at 9 seems significant, implying she got to know him a little. It can be estimated that they met around April 19, 1993.

- ↑ 145.0 145.1 Through a series of calculations, taking into account actor ages working back from present events and flashback settings, and evidence from Luke Cage, it can be found that Pop's arrest was around April 24, 1993 and his son, Bert Hunter, was born around July 1993 (fitting with Pop saying in Code of the Streets that his partner was pregnant when he was arrested). The full calculations can be found here.
- ↑ 146.0 146.1 146.2 146.3 In AKA The Perfect Burger and AKA I Have No Spleen, it is said in April-May 2018 (see 2018 references) that Kith Lyonne and Jeri Hogarth broke up "25 years" ago, so in 1993. In AKA I Did Something Today, it is said that Hogarth got together with Wendy Ross in finals week, May, then Lyonne found out "3 months" later, so in August, making that August 1993. So, the finals week was May 1993. The most likely date for a finals week in 1993 was May 5, 1993, so Hogarth likely met Ross there.
"3 months" could then mean a near exact 3 months, around August 5, 1993, or a more general "August - May = 3 months", so any time in August 1993 (approximating with mid-August). A weighted calculation gives roughly August 9, 1993 for Lyonne finding out. - ↑ 147.0 147.1 147.2 147.3 147.4 Jessica Jones: 3.09: AKA I Did Something Today

It can therefore be taken that this mission occurred on the midpoint of these dates, May 29, 1993.

- ↑ In Black Widow, Melina Vostokoff mentions Alexei Shostakov allowing Natasha Romanoff and Yelena Belova to stay up to catch Santa Claus. This would have happened during one of the three Christmases they spent together, in 1992, 1993, and 1994. This event can be approximated to the middle of these dates, December 24, 1993.

- ↑ In One Bad Day, Krista Dumont says she "spent 2 years getting put back together" after her fall. With the fall dated to February 26, 1992 (see other references), this could refer to around an exact 2 years, roughly February 26, 1994, or more generally to "1994 - 1992 = 2", so any point in 1994, approximating with the middle of the year. Putting more weight on the more specific, a weighted calculation gives her completion of surgeries as approximately April 9, 1992.
- ↑ 162.0 162.1 162.2 Jack Murdock's death is dated to November 12, 1994 (see other references). Considering how far Matt has got with learning Braille in the flashbacks of Cut Man at the time of his father's death, he likely would have been blinded around 6 months earlier, roughly May 12, 1994. The Cut Man flashback of him stitching his father before he was blinded would be around a month earlier, Saturday, April 9, 1994.

In the flashbacks in Kinbaku, on October 29, 2005 (See 2000s references), Murdock tells Elektra Natchios that his father died "10 years" ago, suggesting that he died around late 1995. However, Jack Murdock died a couple of months before Stick met Matt, which was another several months before he left Matt. If there is around 8 months between Jack's death and Stick leaving Matt, working from the midpoint between these two suggestions, mid-1995, 4 months either way would suggest that Jack died around early 1995 and Stick left Matt around late 1995. However, the subtitles of Cut Man show Creel vs. Murdock to be November 12th, so it can be shifted to the nearest November: November 12, 1994. This lines up with the fact that the poster in the episode shows it to be a Saturday, with November 12, 1994 being a Saturday. Matt and Stick can then be approximated as meeting around 2 months later, January 12, 1995, and Stick leaving Matt a further 6 months later, July 12, 1995.

- ↑ In Captain Marvel, on June 11, 1995 (see other references), it is said to be "120 days since the last Skrull attack" on Hala (later revelations would suggest this may not in fact have been an "attack"). This would place the fight on February 11, 1995.

Marvel Television Live Auction Lot #327: Dr. Mercer's Empathy Notes on Young Benjamin 'Dex' Poindexter shows that Poindexter's first session was on March 20th. The closest March 20th, therefore, is March 20, 1995, placing those flashbacks in March 1995, and the following listed appointments from Lot #327 March-May 1995, with Marvel Television Live Auction Lot #376: Wilson Fisk's Files on Benjamin 'Dex' Poindexter listing appointments that can then be dated to October-December 1995.

The implication is that this was when Fury was promoted to Director of S.H.I.E.L.D.. As well as this, in the photograph he is holding from then, Fury looks not much younger than he does in the present, 2014 events, suggesting perhaps a 2000s setting, and Fury says in Captain Marvel, in June 1995 (see other references), that he has had a desk job for "the past 6 years", implying that this operation should not be between mid-1989 and June 1995. However, Fury loses his eye in Captain Marvel, in June 1995, and has two eyes in Pierce's photograph. He cannot be trying a glass eye in the photograph, as he is shown in Captain America: The Winter Soldier to still have the scarred eye in the socket, so the photograph must be before June 1995, before Captain Marvel. Considering he looks older than he does in that film, it should be as late as possible. Fury is bald in the photograph, but has short hair in Captain Marvel, so the photograph needs to be at least a month before Captain Marvel for him to grow the hair. Placing the photograph as late as possible, a month before his appearance in Captain Marvel, it can be approximated to May 12, 1995. The Bogotá operation is presumably about a week earlier, so can be approximated to May 5, 1995. It can be assumed that Fury being Deputy Chief of the station in Bogotá was just one of his desk jobs from 1989 to 1995, and ordering the operation did not involve entering the field himself, or did but was a one-off so not enough to break what he considered 6 years of a desk job.

The same day, Yelena Belova notices lightning bugs flying, which in Ohio tends to happen in the summer. To best satisfy both occurrences happening, this can be taken to have happened as early as possible, the first football game in the high school season, September 3, 1995. The following scenes of the family arriving in Cuba can therefore be taken to be the next day, September 4.

The first collection of scenes is of a braid receiving a bow, a group of girls being brainwashed by cartoons, and a group of girls ice skating. In the ice skating scene, the girls appear to be roughly middle school age, and can be taken to be approximately 12.5 years old. This scene can therefore be approximated to when Romanoff was 12.5 years old, so approximately June 3, 1997. The scenes with the braid and the cartoons can therefore be distributed between Romanoff and Belova being separated and the ice skating scene, so on April 7, 1996 and November 8, 1996, respectively.
The montage also features two shots of girls marching, one of which is when they are roughly middle school age and can be taken to be approximately 13 years old, so on December 3, 1997.
The second shot of girls marching, two shots of girls preparing weapons, a group of soldiers in a drum line, and Dreykov watching a group of girls fire at targets occur in the movie when the girls are roughly high school age. Similarly, Black Widow Prelude features a scene of a group of high school age girls doing ballet and one of Romanoff firing at a target. These can be distributed throughout the years in which Romanoff was 14 through 18 years old, placing the comic firing scene on September 19, 1998, the second marching shot on April 1, 1999, the first shot of girls preparing weapons on November 16, 1999, the ballet scene on February 13, 2001, the drum line on September 30, 2001, and the second shot of girls preparing weapons on May 16, 2002.
Two scenes, one from Black Widow Prelude, and several flashback scenes from Avengers: Age of Ultron, both featuring Romanoff being nervous for her graduation ceremony, can be placed near the ceremony. The ceremony itself can be taken to be when Romanoff was 21, analogous to a college graduation, so May 27, 2005. Similarly, Black Widow has two scenes in which the girls are in their early twenties: one of a group of girls doing ballet, and one of a girl doing gymnastics. These scenes can be distributed between January 1, 2003, the year Romanoff turned 20, and May 27, 2005, approximately when she would graduate. This would place the Black Widow ballet scene on May 6, 2003, the gymnastics scene on September 8, 2003, the Avengers: Age of Ultron ballet flashback on May 15, 2004, the scene of Romanoff pretending to lose on September 17, 2004, Romanoff shooting on January 20, 2005.
The montage in Black Widow then features several members of the Black Widows being spotted throughout the world, starting with Romanoff, as well as shots of a Widow putting on a Widow's Bite and a belt, and a group of Widows lining up. These scenes can be placed between the graduation and the 2016 events in Morocco on June 18, 2016 (see 2016 references), while ensuring that Romanoff's scene is before January 1, 2008, when she defected from the Red Room and joined S.H.I.E.L.D. (see 2000s references). This would place Romanoff's scene on December 25, 2006, and the rest on July 24, 2008, February 21, 2010, September 21, 2011, and April 20, 2013. A scene in this montage which is attached to this last scene can then be placed to the last day, April 20, 2013. The scene with the Widow putting on her belt and accessory, as well as the Widows marching, can then be placed on November 18, 2014.
Three scenes from the montage feature Dreykov influencing two political events, as well as a shot of him watching his monitors. The two scenes of him influencing political events must be before Dreykov is thought dead in January 2008, and can therefore be distributed between then and Romanoff and Belova being separated. This places the first scene on October 14, 1999 and the second on November 22, 2003.
Two events are mentioned to have happened during this period of time in The Avengers: Romanoff killing people in São Paulo and another instance of her setting a hospital on fire. These can be distributed between Romanoff's graduation and her defection, and can therefore be placed on April 8, 2006 and February 18, 2007, respectively. The Avengers Prelude: Black Widow Strikes describes an incident involving Romanoff which is described as having occurred "long before [Romanoff] defected to S.H.I.E.L.D.." This can therefore be taken to have happened within the first half of the time between graduation and defection, so on approximately January 19, 2006.
Black Widow Prelude features a scene of Romanoff looking over New York City after joining S.H.I.E.L.D.. This would likely occur within a month of Romanoff joining S.H.I.E.L.D., so in approximately February 2008.
The montage goes on to feature several clips of Melina Vostokoff's experiments being conducted, beginning with someone reading the information which Alexei Shostakov had stolen, a scene of pigs being studied, and a failed surgery. Later in the movie, Belova mentions that Romanoff was not subject to Vostokoff's chemical mind control, meaning that the experiment was completed after Romanoff defected and before the events in Morocco, so on approximately April 9, 2012. The person reading the stolen information can be approximated to the day after it was received, so September 6, 1995. The remaining scenes can be distributed between then and the completion of the experiment, placing the pigs on December 22, 2003 and the failed surgery on February 14, 2008.
Finally, a group of scenes of war and a scene of a person sewing a Black Widow logo onto a piece of cloth are shown. These can be distributed throughout Romanoff and Belova being separated and the first scene and the events in Morocco, resulting in each conflict happening on July 26, 1997, June 16, 1999, May 6, 2001, March 27, 2003, February 14, 2005, January 5, 2007, November 25, 2008, October 16, 2010, and September 5, 2012, and the sewing scene on July 27, 2014. - ↑ Cloak & Dagger: 1.02: Suicide Sprints
- ↑ Jeri Hogarth's college finals week is May 1993 (see other references). This means Hogarth graduated in 1993, so Hogarth's law school likely began in 1993, therefore likely finishing in May 1996. In AKA I Have No Spleen, Hogarth says, "I graduated law school in the '90s," which fits with May 1996.

- ↑ 227.0 227.1 227.2 227.3 227.4 In Asylum, the Spector family is shown to be having a barbecue the day Randall Spector dies. By the time of Marc Spector's first birthday following Randall's death, on March 9, 1997 (see other references), Wendy Spector is still too depressed to leave her room, suggesting Randall's death is still relatively recent. However, it is unlikely to be within the past few months, as those would have been winter - unlikely for a barbecue. It can therefore be taken that Randall likely died around the last month of the previous summer, placing it in approximately September 1996. Marvel Studios' The Marvel Cinematic Universe: An Official Timeline places it indeed in "1996", but before the Massacre of the Zehoberei, which is ideally placed on September 1, 1996 - thereby placing Randall's death ultimately around September 1, 1996 also.
- ↑ 228.0 228.1 In Avengers: Infinity War, Gamora says, "I hated this room, this ship, I hated my life." Thanos replies, "You told me that, too, every day, for almost 20 years." This implies that his massacre of half her people occurred "almost 20 years" before Gamora left him on August 1, 2014 (see 2014 references) in Guardians of the Galaxy. This piece of evidence, along with Gamora's date of birth, calculated from Zoe Saldana and Ariana Greenblatt's ages, places the Massacre of the Zehoberei in approximately 1995.
Marvel Studios' The Marvel Cinematic Universe: An Official Timeline places the event in the "late 1990s". With the final third of the 1990s (i.e. late 1990s) only beginning on September 1, 1996, this is therefore the closest the event can be to the ideal 1995. Therefore, it is placed on September 1, 1996. - ↑ 229.0 229.1 229.2 Avengers: Infinity War

- ↑ 233.0 233.1 In You Know My Steez, a flashback is shown of Willis training Carl at boxing. In the background is a notice about an event coming up on "Friday November 15" (which would be 1996) and then "Monday 6-10 January" (1997), placing this around early November 1996. It is shown in Take It Personal that in May of whichever year (it refers to the car being a "1993" model, so at least 1994 or 1995 to refer to it as such), when Willis was 18 and Carl was 17, they stole a 1993 corvette. It can be assumed, considering the fact that the actors already look older than 16 and 18 in the November 1996 flashback and Mike Colter's age at the times of filming suggesting Luke would have turned 17 around the early 1990s, as well as the way the brothers' story is told, it can be assumed that they stole the car in the first May after the November 1996 flashback, May 1997.

- ↑ In AKA Sole Survivor, Jessica Jones says on May 4, 2017, "Leslie Hansen worked at Metro-General in the '90s and then nothing. 20 years of web presence completely wiped out." 20 years prior to May 4, 2017 could specifically mean approximately May 4, 1997, or could more generally mean "2017 - 20 years = 1997" (so approximated at July 1, 1997), or even more generally "2010s - 2 decades = 1990s" (so approximated at December 31, 1994-January 1, 1995). Putting more weight on the most specific and least weight on the least specific, it can be calculated that Hansen stopped working at Metro-General around January 19, 1997.
- ↑ Jessica Jones: 2.07: AKA Sole Survivor
- ↑ Marc Spector's passport in Summon the Suit shows his date of birth to be March 9, 1987. In Asylum, Wendy Spector refuses to come downstairs on Marc's birthday, where his cake has ten candles, placing the scene on his tenth birthday, March 9, 1997.
- ↑ In The Creator, it is said that before his death on September 3, 2017 (see 2017 references), Anansi had "been on the straight and narrow for 20 years". This would suggest approximately September 3, 1997. However, it may more roughly just mean "2017 - 1997 = 20", so any time in 1997 (using mid-1997 as an approximation), or even more roughly just mean "2010s - 1990s = 20", so any time in the 1990s (using mid-1990s as an approximation). Putting more weight in the specific date than just the year, and more weight in the year than the decade, a weighted calculation gives roughly March 31, 1997 for when he changed his ways.
- ↑ Luke Cage: 2.11: The Creator
- ↑ In B Sides, it is said on October 31, 2017 (see 2017 references) that Roxxon moved to Pensacola "20 years" ago. This could refer to a near exact "20 years" (around October 31, 1997), a more general "2017 - 1997 = 20" (so approximating with mid-1997), or an even more general "2010s - 1990s = 20" (so approximating with the mid-1990s). Putting more weight on the most specific and less weight on the least specific, a weighted calculation would suggest approximately May 2, 1997.

In AKA Hellcat, flashbacks are shown of Walker acting at a young age, playing a character who is "10". Audrey Grace Marshall was around 10.0 at the time of filming, suggesting Walker is around this age. Given Walker must be at least 12, it may be assumed that the flashbacks are shortly after she has turned 12, and are her first acting job. Her date of birth is approximated to June 1985 (see 1980s references), specifically June 26, 1985, so these can be taken to be June 27, 1997-approximately July 21, 1997.
- ↑ Jessica Jones: 2.04: God Help the Hobo
- ↑ In AKA Start at the Beginning, Malcolm Ducasse says, "My folks started me building when I was about 7." Ducasse was born around January 1990 (see other references), so he was "about 7" from approximately January 1997 to January 1998, meaning this event was approximately July 1997.

This could refer specifically to them having met around September 17, 1997, but could be more generally "2017 - 20 years = 1997", the midpoint of which, for estimation, would be July 2, 1997. Overall, putting more weight in the more precise but taking into account the more general as well, the date can be calculated as approximately August 22, 1997.

- ↑ In Double Zeros, on January 10, 2018, Janet Stein says she has been "living with [Victor] for 20 years". This could refer specifically to around January 10, 1998, or more generally "2018 - 1998 = 20" (so approximating with mid-1998), or even more generally "2010s - 1990s = 20" (so approximating with the mid-1990s). Putting most weight on the most specific and the least weight on the least specific, a weighted calculation would suggest they've been living together since around September 24, 1997.

- ↑ 256.0 256.1 256.2 In Beloved, Varra tells the story of how she started to take on Priscilla Davis' form. In a flashback in Betrayed set on December 5, 1998 (see other references), Fury is surprised by Varra looking like Davis, suggesting she took on this form before then, but after Varra joined Fury's team of Skrulls on November 15, 1997 (see other references). Varra can therefore be approximated to have taken on this form at the midpoint of these dates, placing it on May 26, 1998.
In Beloved, Varra says that Davis "Didn't want the people she loved gathered around for months, watching her die in a hospital." "Months" could refer to a minimum of two months and a maximum of 11.9999 months, just before it becomes "a year." This places Davis' diagnosis with her heart defect on approximately October 25, 1998. Varra also says, "And I would visit her in her room almost every day towards the end, and we became quite close." Approximating "towards the end" as the final third of Davis' illness before her death, Davis can be taken to have started visiting Davis on March 16, 1998. - ↑ 257.0 257.1 Marvel Television Live Auction Lot #602: Mariah Dillard's Scrapbook

- ↑ 259.0 259.1 In Promises, Nick Fury promises to find a new home for the Skrulls in what's shown in an on-screen card to be "1997." The weather and foliage in London, specifically the tree outside the Tate Central Free Public Library, indicate a November setting, so the scene can be approximated to November 15, 1997.
- ↑ In AKA I Did Something Today, it is said on May 13, 2018 (see 2018 references) that Nussbaumer has served "20 decorated years", and said that before his May 14, 2018 death (see 2018 references) that he is a "20-year decorated vet". These could refer to a near exact 20 years (approximately May 13/14, 1998), more generally "2018 - 1998 = 20" so any time in 1998 (approximating with mid-1998), or even more generally "2010s - 1990s = 2 decades", so any time in the 1990s (approximating with the mid-1990s). So, putting the most weight on the most specific, and least weight on the least, a weighted calculation gives the beginning of Nussbaumer's service as around December 3, 1997.

- ↑ In Last Rites, on January 14, 2018 (see 2018 references), David Ellerh's death is shown to be "twenty years ago", so around early 1998. Using calculations based on Annie Wersching's ages during filming for Runaways: Seasons 1-3, set December 2017 (see 2017 references)-August 2018 (see 2018 references), Charlie Townsend being 5 during filming for Last Rites but credited as a "toddler Leslie", and Mia Topalian being 25 during filming for this scene, a weighted calculation (details here) would place Leslie's birth around July 1976 and this flashback around April 5, 1998 when she's 21.

- ↑ In Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Xu Wenwu and Ying Li are shown getting pictures taken to celebrate their union. However, it is not clear whether these are engagement or wedding photos. The average time between a couple meeting and getting engaged is fourteen to fifteen months, suggesting the scene is that long after they met on April 5, 1996 (see other references), so on June 27, 1997. The average amount of time between meeting and getting married is two years, eleven months, and eight days, suggesting the scene is that long after April 5, 1996, so approximately March 13, 1999. The midpoint of these dates, May 5, 1998, can therefore be used to approximate the pictures being taken.
- ↑ In Fifteen, Yvonne Taylor is shown to have been "17" when she died. With her death dated to December 4, 2015 (see 2015 references), Taylor would have been born between December 5, 1997 and December 4, 1998, so approximately June 1998.

The maximum would be Shades' arrest after being sent to Seagate Penitentiary, approximated to March 3, 2012 (see 2012 references). Therefore, Shades would have stolen the sunglasses on July 9, 1998.
- ↑ Luke Cage: 2.08: If It Ain't Rough, It Ain't Right
- ↑ In On and On, a flashback is shown of James Lucas telling Carl/Luke to wake up. This appears to be from some sort of summer sports event from when Carl was young. However, not too young, as James does not look particularly younger than he does in 2017. Assuming this was from before Carl/Luke went to college, but otherwise as late as possible, it can be approximated to the summer after he finished high school, so when he was 18. With Carl/Luke's date of birth approximated to April 1980 (see 1980s references), this would be Summer 1998, so can be placed around the middle of the academic summer, between the end of term in June and beginning of term in September, so approximately July 31, 1998.

- ↑ In Metamorphosis, Amy Minoru is said to have been "16" when she died, which is dated to December 4, 2015, meaning she was born between December 5, 1998 and December 4, 1999. Amanda Suk was born on July 30, 1986, making her 31 in August 2017, the middle of filming for Runaways: Season 1, very much suggesting that Minoru must have been at least 16-going-on-17, for a 31-year-old actor to have any plausibility in playing the character. Therefore, it can be approximated that Minoru was born in December 1998, making her almost-17 at her time of death on December 4, 2015.
As well as this, in the flashback in Doomsday showing the Minorus in 2001, Nico is only around 4 months old, making it May 2001, and Amy is roughly 2½, indeed making her date of birth approximately late 1998. - ↑ Runaways: 1.06: Metamorphosis
- ↑ In Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Ying Li is shown to be approximately 13.5 weeks pregnant with Xu Shang-Chi while carrying flowers across the courtyard. With Xu's date of birth approximated to June 6, 1999, this scene can be approximated to December 3, 1998.
- ↑ In Please, flashbacks are shown of young Matt Murdock, played by Skylar Gaertner as in Daredevil: Season 1. Gaertner was approximately 13.4 years old during filming for Please. With Murdock's date of birth approximated to early January 1985 (see 1980s references), this would then place the flashbacks around approximately mid-June 1998. However, Murdock says his "confirmation is in the spring", implying it is winter, and this matches the weather shown (with the scene filmed around December). It can be taken to be the same time of year as when the episode was filmed. With the episode filmed around December 4, 2017, it can be assumed it is approximately the closest December 4th to mid-June 1998: December 4, 1998.

- ↑ In Betrayed, Nick Fury is shown meeting with Varra in "1998." Fury's watch shows a "5," indicating that the meeting occurs on the fifth of the month. Both Fury and Varra are dressed warmly, and in Harvest, Fury says, "Skrulls like the cold," suggesting this scene should occur during one of the colder months if Skrulls have a higher tolerance for the c
