T'Challa tells his father, T'Chaka that he wants to explore the world, but T'Chaka insists that it has nothing to offer but violence. T'Challa insists on searching for more, and T'Chaka explains that T'Challa is an explorer and that he would only find destruction of pain from people who do not understand Wakandan way of life.[1][2]
T'Challa runs out to the outskirts of Wakanda, practicing throwing his spear. He is abducted by Kraglin Obfonteri and Taserface, who were intending to find Quill.[1][2]
T'Challa is brought onto Udonta's ship, and Udonta immediately recognizes him as the wrong kid. Obfonteri tries to defend himself, and explains that anything alien on Earth would have been in Wakanda. T'Challa explains that Wakanda was built on a meteorite, and Udonta realizes that he is not freaked out. T'Challa says that he was exploring the world, and Udonta offers T'Challa a chance to explore the galaxy.[1][2]
