The 107th Infantry Regiment was a regiment of the New York Army National Guard.

During the major confrontation with the Nazi Germany forces, the 107th Infantry Regiment troops were captured by Hydra and imprisoned at Hydra Base Camp C3. Receiving an intel about the soldiers in captivity, Captain Carter spearheaded a rescue mission and broke into the prison, approaching Bucky Barnes and liberating the prisoners of war. With the support from Steve Rogers in the advanced suit of armor, Carter and the prisoners fought off the HYDRA soldiers and broke free.
Several 107th Regiment soldiers, including Barnes, eventually joined Carter and Rogers in their war effort, forming the Howling Commandos.[1]
