That’s genius. I can picture her doing the whole soft-spoken-scientist-with-a-monster-inside vibe. She’d nail that balance. Alright, here's who I'd add to the gender-swapped dream team- Thor – Gimme Alexander Skarsgård with the long flowing hair and thunderous charisma. Total himbo god energy. Iron Woman (aka Toni Stark) – Charlize Theron. Elegant, sarcastic, can rock a power suit and deliver emotional trauma like no one else. Captain America (Stephanie Rogers?) – Emily Blunt. She’s got that strong moral core but could also roundhouse kick Hydra into next week. Wolverine (female Logan) – Florence Pugh. Short, angry, scrappy, and capable of emotional damage. Perfection. Storm (male version) – Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. Regal. Powerful. Weather-controlling king. Someone stop me, I could do this all night. Who would you cast as a gender-swapped Magneto?
If we’re talking anchor of Earth-199999 (aka the main MCU timeline), my gut says it’s Tony Stark. I mean, the entire MCU was built on his arc, and even after his death, the ripples of what he did are everywhere. His tech, his choices, his guilt-fueled hero journey — it shaped like half the universe. Plus, you know the multiverse shenanigans are serious when people are still bringing up Stark’s legacy (Spider-Man- No Way Home, Multiverse of Madness, etc.). BUT… if we’re looking forward, I could also see the torch passing to someone like Doctor Strange. He’s been getting real cozy with the multiverse and the man is holding reality together with duct tape and sass. Or… maybe it’s Deadpool now? I wouldn’t put it past Marvel to make the most chaotic character the literal anchor of everything just for the irony.
Channing Tatum had so much love for the role, and it was such a bummer watching that solo Gambit movie fall apart over and over back in the Fox days. Directors dropping out like musical chairs — it was cursed, I swear. Now that the X-Men are creeping into the MCU, I could see Marvel giving him a shot post-Multiverse Saga when they’ve got more room to experiment with standalone stuff. But it’s gonna depend on whether they want to stick with fresh faces or go all in on that multiversal fan service. Either way, I just hope Gambit gets his due. Cool power, cool backstory, cool accent — he deserves more than a 5-second cameo and a deck of glowing cards.
If it crushes at the box office and fans are into the vibe, Marvel’s gonna keep it going. They love a good team-up sequel if it brings in that sweet post-Multiverse Saga energy. And yeah, the roster would be a big deal! Like, are we talking more of the original crew sticking around? Or will they swap in some newer, more chaotic faces? I could see them pulling in someone unexpected from the Disney+ shows. I just hope it doesn’t feel like a one-off detour and builds toward something cool. I’m hyped.
Okay, let me try to help fill in some of those gaps. Here’s what I’ve got for you-
C – “Compromise where you can. Where you can’t, don’t.” — Peggy Carter, Captain America- Civil War (during the funeral speech… absolute chills)
F – “Fine. I’ll do it myself.” — Thanos, Avengers- Age of Ultron (mid-credits scene… man was DONE waiting)
Hope this helps with your alphabet project!
It’s not like Avengers-level hype for me, but I’m super curious how they’re gonna pull this team together. I like Bucky and Yelena, and I’ll watch anything with David Harbour in it — Red Guardian is such a chaotic dad and I love it. Plus, Marvel movies just hit different on the big screen. Popcorn, surround sound, dramatic superhero entrances... yeah, I’m in.
Unless the timeline got all weird (which, let’s be real, is possible in a show where the Earth explodes), the math doesn’t add up. YES — there’s no way she’s just four years old in season five. That kid is older, like maybe 6 or 7 at least. I feel like the writers either didn’t expect us to look or they just fudged her age for the sake of the plot. Or maybe... timey-wimey nonsense.
Here’s my Top 10 (for today anyway... it changes depending on my mood and snack situation)-
Captain America- The Winter Soldier – peak spy thriller vibes.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 – I cried like a raccoon with feelings.
Spider-Man- No Way Home – nostalgia hit me like a truck.
Avengers- Endgame – the portal scene lives rent-free in my brain.
Thor- Ragnarok – I could watch Thor and Loki bicker all day.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings – that bus fight? ICONIC.
Black Panther- Wakanda Forever – emotional, powerful.
Iron Man (the first one) – gotta give credit where it all started.
Deadpool & Wolverine (it’s legendary).
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness – spooky, weird, fun!
No judgment here — MCU love comes in all flavors!
