Hi, a little late on that, but I was wondering the same, and I'll let the Timeline Discussion expert choose what to do, but I was thinking that, maybe, even though there isn't proofs of that in the movie, maybe Valentina's Gala in commemoration of the Battle of NYC is supposed to be some sort of anniversary, placing this event in early May 2027, exactly 15 years after the Battle of NYC.

Just a thought I had and my personnal headcanon until a more official placement.

I dream of the day that the MCU aknowledge the existence of Cloak & Dagger and The Runaways.

I even have different pitch, like Cloak and Dagger in a Spider-Man movie where the villain is Mr.Negative (with Tyrone and Tandy giving insights about Li's powers - Dark Force & Light Force). Or a team up between Young Avengers and the Runaways. Or just the introduction of Victor Mancha in the Vision's show,, with cameos of Alex Wilder (searching why his future self was involved with him). Or Nico Minoru in a Strange Academy show.

I have so much hope ^^

And also some answers about the current whereabout of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D characters, like is Mack still in charge of S.H.I.E.L.D, where is Quake, will we see Coulson again, etc.

Spider-Man

With the MCU still moving forward in the Timeline, and time passing by, do you think we still have a chance to see Peter's college years ?

Last time we saw him, it was in December 2024, as he intended to pass his GED tests, which he might have passed in 2025.

Now, we are in 2027, with his next movie probably being set in 2027/2028.

That's 2/3 years of his life, school, relationships, etc, that we might not see.

What do you think about it ? Are you cool with the idea that the next time we see him, he might be a complete adult of 21/22 y.o., with a job or something like that ?

@MalchonC It's the most probable hypothesis, but no, if you mean like a litteral date on a calendar in a scene or something like that, no there isn't a specific proof. Just deduction.

Last time we saw Fisk was in Echo, in May 2025, where he expressed his interest into the coming mayoral election. For Matt, it was in Fall 2025, after She-Hulk.

We can assume that the prologue and the fight against Bullseye is not too long after and is set in Late 2025, few weeks after She-Hulk.

Then, 1 year later, Fisk return from a sabbatical, and begin his campaign. We are then in Late 2026. At the end of the first episode, it's New Years Eve, making the rest of the show at the beginning of 2027.

So, out of curiosity, what should be the Nexus Event that caused this universe to branch out ? Is it the Duel at Midtown with DS and the Symbiote? Because, without it, Peter doesn't befriend Nico, doesn't have to go to Rockford H.S., doesn't get spotted by Osborn and doesn't get mentored by him.

Or is it just the fact that Osborn exist in this universe? Or that Nico moved from LA to NYC?

Just to ease my curious mind 😁

I just hope they don't mess the timeline.

We are now heading to 2027. If they want Peter to start at college, they have to place the film in 2025, and be careful to other movies or shows placed in 2025, so they don't contradict...

If they want to move further and go to 2027, they have to explain that Peter has been in college for almost 2 years, and tell us what he's been doing since we last saw him.

You seem to confuse Baron Von Strucker with William Stryker.

Stryker was responsible for the Weapon X program and the creation of Wolverine in X-Men Movies.

Strucker is the Hydra leader that experimented on the Scepter and gave powers to Pietro and Wanda.

Two different characters.

It's a bit more subtle than that.

It was established that Groot can only say "I am Groot" or "We are Groot" and that's all. But after spending time with him, Guardians are able to understand him, to translate his Groot-talk to actual meanings. It's a complete language, where each tone variation can mean differents things.

When he says "I love you guys", he doesn't really say it per se. He is still saying "I am Groot". But because, as viewers, we have spent time with him, we can now understand him and translate.

It's all symbolic and metaphorical, a way to tell us, viewers, that we are also part of this disfonctiunal family as we can now understand Groot like the rest of the Guardians.

Daredevil Born Again

Most likely very early 2026, some filming pictures showed a New Year Eve ambience. Fisk is most likely already mayor, and New York mayors election always happen in November the year after the Presidential Election. So it could be after Ritson or after Ross. I think Ritson because Echo, happening early 2025, show Fisk being interested in the next mayor election, and Ritson was elected in November 2024. So Fisk got elected in November 2025.

Ergo, DD:BA is most likely set in January 2026.

Captain America : Brave New World

I think that the Ross election immediately follows on the impeachment of Ritson, placing the election after 2026. We see cherry blossoms in the trailer, which could be the National Cherry Blossom Festival at Washington D.C., held in March 27.

This festival is about geopolitical relation between U.S. and Japan, and we know it will be an important theme in the movie, both countries competing to mine Tiamut's adamantium. So it would make sense to show this festival.

So I bet for a March 2027 placement.

Agatha All Along

Like you said, the corpse found by Agatha has a tag that say October 13, so it's a safe bet.

But for the year, I think it has to be the sooner after Wanda dies, not too long. Wanda died in 2024, so October 2025 seems to be a good placement.

But Marvel Studios seems to prefer placing their project the most recent they can so I guess October-November 2026 could also work.

Seen it last night, loved it ! Just what I expected, no more, no less, had a fun time watching it, loved the references and the cameos.

About the earths designation, I'm fine with the retcon of TRN-414 still being E-10005 (Days of Future Past time travel is a weird thing, so why not... Finally a special method to change the past without creating a branched universe, I'm ok with it).

But Logan was officialy said, by official designation, to be E-17315... So how can it be the official future of E-10005 ?

^ Not Kevin, he had nothing to do with the Marvel version of Loki.

It's just Marvel, Stan Lee and Larry Lieber who twisted Loki's story to differenciate from the actual mythology.
