Well, some of the 80s takes on Marvel films were... Questionable, to say the least. Google them if you want to have a look. I'd say Hulk was the most interesting.

Not every character can be a central protagonist with interesting development. That's the whole point of tiers of character- you have primary characters in each film, also known as the protagonists. Then you move to the secondary characters (deuteragonists), the tertiary character (triagonists) and the villains (antagonists). And the great thing about a universe like the MCU is that characters that are triagonists or even extras in some films can become the protagonists of their own stories in others.
Not every character has to be as "interesting" as the protagonist, and indeed if the story is written well, few characters will be as interesting as the protagonist- after all, you're there to become invested in the protagonist's story, not those of the supporting characters.
Yes, but I was simply asking because the majority of people I've heard from on this fandom seem to think they know so I wanted opinions. :)
But then why is everyone like "all these people from those films are going to be in Spiderman NWH?" I just don't get it 😅
I'm sorry about that. I'm just saying that they're animals that we've barely seen featured, so I don't understand why it's of any great concern- I guess I just prize human lives over animal ones.

Why do you care whether they kill the animals, no offense? Like Sparky was just a random dog with zero personality, not a character. Not that he wasn't cute or anything, but he was kinda just an object, you know? Like he was just there.
The costume was... interesting, to be quite frank.
