Can I be added too if there is still time for it?
Maybe they were LMD's and because they didn't need them (and couldn't use them in the past) Jemma shut them. but then why were they wearing hazmat suits? To hide. idk. Yeah, I hope they make a solid reasoning.
He probably asked Ancient One to use the Time Stone and change the stones to their original forms. That's the most logical explanation.
Tony could be the second most, but I'm not sure on that too. He exploded the mothership of the Chiaturi and he also snapped the Thanos's army, so there is a definetly alot of dead. But then there is Carol, Thor, Odin Hela... Thor said he killed nearly 3000 people but I don't think it was a real number he just meant that he killed alot. The real number is probably way higher. Odin and Heal were warlords so they deifnetly killed alot too. And Carol was operating in space for decades so she proabbly killed alot too. The point is Frank definetly isn't even in the top 5 but we can't know the real numbers.
^It will happen eventually. And actually it can be the next big arc by the looks of it.
Disney+ twitter account did say this fall a couple weeks ago but it's stil not certain.
Do we know how time monolith works? It send the team to 2091 in 4x22 but was it the future of the original timeline or a possible future for the timeline that can be changed based on the events prior to it. Anyway, they changed the events of that time frame so in return it has to create another reality that's diverged in 2091. So when they go back to 2018 do they land in the original timeline or the 2018 version of the new Destruction of Earth timeline? İf they land in the new Destruction of Earth timeline than that means they changed that timeline again in 5x22 so then they create another timeline. So the timelines are;
Original MCU timeline that had a possible Destruction of Earth scenario but thanks the teams effort that possibilty isn't goning to happen so the timeline is saved.
Destruction of Earth v1 timeline: that is similar to original timeline until 5x22 but talbot wins and 2091 future happens.
Destruction of Earth v2 timeline: it's the same of the v1 until agents arrive
Original MCU timeline until 5x22 where Destruction of Earth posssiblity is eliminated so a new timeline created.
Or the more possible outcome I'm wrong and nobody know the full rules of any time travel story in-inuverse and out-universe.
I was thinking of making a post about it but since this is related to it, I will write it here. Could J.T. have been killed by Hydra? Sousa talked about losing men and the Hydra thing seemed personel for him too. So maybe J.T. was killed by Hydra which saddened Sousa and he suspected Hydra than investigated them. I know the AC showrunners said that in the cancelled season 3 it was going to be revealed as Carter's brother but since that plot is probably never going to happen they might try to solve it like this.
Yeah, based on the last episode I didn't expect her to show up. But her answer seems kinda cold. Btw she get bullied becuase of her look? What happened, this is the first time I heard about it.
@Marvelus I was planning to read that but then I forgot. I will read it now, thanks.
I understand your point but I don't think it fits. And the way Daisy mentined Souza by calling him 'Peggy's old partner' is making me think that he isn't Peggy's husband. So yeah we at the very least have to wait another week for the answer.
I don't think Steve is selfish, he earned that ending. I guess our only middle ground can be that Steve returned to main timeline in 1949 and he lived in secret and didn't change anyting. But still what did Peggy's original husband do after this change? And I don't think predestination is the way they thought. So,I don't know. Anyways I hope Souza will clear things up next week.
I mean Steve's stutiation can only be explanied by learning how the time travel really works.
I mean everything is assuming at this point we don't know the real answer. I think Deke' explanation is the correct. If the changes isn't big then it dosen't create a timeline and timeline slightly changes. So, no I don't think Clint created a timeline because he didn't change anything important.
@Marvelus hi btw.
I don't think he has to be on the platform. When Steve and Tony went from 2012 to 1970 they didn't use the platform they only used the navigator. Btw the directors says alternate timeline so yeah they are not in a agreement either. But I think the director has the final say.
Bench thing can be explained just by that he used the navigator thing to get back to original timeline. He maybe came to the orginal timeline to 2016 right after Peggy's death and stayed there till 2023 in sceret. Or he could be returned to the day before he used the machine in 2023.
But the movie says 'Changing the past dosen't change the future'. And Steve going back changes the past which then creates an alternate timeline. I don't think predestination works here. There can't be two versions of the same guy in the same timeline that originated and lives in the same timeline.
No, this can't happen by the movies rules. The thing that happened most probably is;
Steve fell in ice in 1945.
Peggy fall in love with a guy (probably Souza) and had 2 kids with him by 1953.
Steve wakes up in 2012.
Peggy dies in 2016.
Avengers defeats Thanos in 2023.
Steve takes back stones to their original timelines and then stops at 1949.
An alternate 1949 created.
They live together till 2016 and then Peggy dies.
He gets himself a new shield from somewhere from this timeline.
Steve, by using time traveler navigator on his watch turns back to original timeline to 2023.
Back to original timeline.
Steve gives his shield to Sam.
Steve (with the help of Ancient One) using the time stone can probably change the stones to their earlier apperences, that's only logical solution to me if they don't want the alter the timelines. I saw this from this fan movie and it really makes sense; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3rwdxU1cRig
Btw it's a really good video and it's my head-canon now.
