Loki, both of them - His arc is incredible, I don't need to say much, but a narcissistic God who craves power finally gets it when he wants it least, that was sick
Rocket Raccoon - We see it across the Guardians and even Avengers films, but the Volume 3 really made him a well-developed character, and he had a great story and journey in that film
Nebula - Going from a recurring villain to a full on Guardian was epic for her, it was so cool to see, and I liked her arc a lot
Spider-Man - He's sensational, and I wish people talked about his arc in No Way Home a lot more, it was really cool
Steve Rogers - Going from a full on patriotic soldier who cared for the system greatly to realising it was not actually a system that represented the people was cool, honesty was perfect.
Shuri - Had a great character arc in Wakanda Forever, in the other movies she's cool, but she was handled brilliantly in Wakanda Forever
I don't mind, but honestly I can live without them appearing in either. I do think that they definitely shouldn't appear in Doomsday with the exception of Peter Quill as he's living on Earth currently.
In Secret Wars, the Guardians from that post-credits scene could appear and also Star-Lord, but Drax, Gamora, Nebula, and Mantis definitely shouldn't show up, as Drax and Gamora's stories ended, and adding Mantis and Nebula would make the plot too convoluted with the amount of characters appearing.
This trailer is fantastic, I love the strong focus on family that the movie has, which I feel is the best way to tell the story of this team. I really like the cast and I think they have excellent chemistry, I love the joke Johnny made to Reed. We got new looks at Shalla Bal aka Silver Surfer, and a tiny bit of Galactus, I'm assuming Galactus will have the ability to change his size somewhat (though not by much as then it'd just be Ant-Man's powers which I do not want). Silver Surfer looks cool, I can't wait to see her story, and I think she's gonna have incredible fight scenes at least.
Also Franklin is coming, I'm interested to see where this will go forward as Doomsday and Secret Wars is around the corner, so I wonder if they'll include him in those plots somehow. Also this is one of the few times I'm really concerned about "the world ending" because this is an alternate earth, so it's really dramatic.
A great film, I have full trust in Marvel to finally make a fantastic film with these characters
Or it could have been a set design that they purposefully intended to destroy, overlapping with the location visually
I hope Captain Carter doesn't appear, she's one of my least favourite characters, she ran her course already.
Will RDJ be last? Also, since they already announced some massive surprises, and Chris Evans has been reported, could we see his chair?
I missed the goddamn castings for Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen
@SilverQuake616 wow no way really
Low-key I'm kinda excited (that was terrible)
I still think Taskmaster will die
The first NEW Avengers recruit is back
I don't mind the wait, but man are some of them a little underwhelming. Guess we know Sentry's surviving though
So Monica confirmed?
Never thought they'd confirm Beast here, but that's all good
Thank the Elder Gods that Shang-Chi is back
@SilverQuake616 Apparently I do have time (God knows what am I doing with my life)
^I mean in the quality of the movie being good
Namor returning is a little random, but I'm glad. He's been one of my favourite characters from Phase 4, and Wakanda Forever was amazing and he played a big part in that.
I'm guessing Evangeline Lily's not returning as Wasp considering she retired from acting?
K, Imma give my opinion on each of these:
Arishem - Doesn't really make sense, I feel the Celestials should be given their own prominence in their own project, but this won't be possible cuz Eternals flopped so hard, so he may appear in Doomsday, but I hope not
Black Knight - I wish a Midnight Suns movie would have been made before, but honestly, I don't mind cuz they can just say he's a rookie. But I hope not, as they need to develop him as Black Knight first
Eros + Pip the Troll - I feel they may, but I'm not too keen. Honestly, they should have done an Eternals follow-up or something, because the movie has so many unresolved plot threats, but I don't really care for the Eternals characters, so I'm hoping they don't appear
Sif - Hmmm, I guess she'll have to get a new arm, but honestly, I don't mind too much, just as long as she has less prominence
Zeus + Hercules - Honestly, Thor 5 should be made before their next appearance. I think they'll return after Secret Wars, so I don't want them here.
Love - She honestly might. I don't hate it, cuz she was only in there for 3 minutes
Clea - Yes, she should appear, I only wish Doctor Strange 3 was made before this, in order to develop her better. I think they left it on a cliffhanger so that this will set the stage for Doomsday.
Zemo + Abomination - Unless they join the the Thunderbolts/Dark Avengers, I don't think so, I'm fine without them, and there's already too many characters
Eli + Skaar - They should appear, as they might be creating the Young Avengers in Doomsday, but they should change Skaar's hairline, and reveal Eli has inherited his grandfather's super serum within the movie, as I feel he was robbed of an appearance in Brave New World, no matter how small it could have been
Falcon - He's a must, he's the first recruit of the new Avengers team
G'iah + Sonya Falsworth - No, I don't care for either of them, and I don't see how they can fit in the story
