While I was worried initially that they were going to go small scale with the closing shot of the series, this is definetly reassuring. Let's get Danny, Luke, Colleen and Misty back!
All of the Cap trilogy, particularly the streamlining of The Winter Soldier and Civil War storyline.
Also, unpoluar opinion, I like how Far From Home adapted "Spider-Man No More" spiritually, like with how he's trying to avoid being Spider-Man but he's called to return, and he learns to balance his two lives.
@GarrettSMW now that u mention it, it would've been a good thematic tie-in to have the mercs at the beginning of BP2 (the ones hired by the French) to be Serpent (or Serpent Society).
Not only bc of there being a more excitining battle for the Dora Milaje, but given that Namor was referred to Kukulkan, aka. The feathered Serpent, it's a nice nod. And even in comic form, the Serpent Society has links to Atantis, via the Serlent Crown.
Hoping he's Mister Fear, cause that would be truly appropiate
With that armor it almost looks like Taskmaster.
If there was a chance to bring back Rhys Ifans as Lizard, it should either have been Morbius or Kraven, definetly not Venom, but oh well.
And frankly, I wish Sony and Marvel Studios could agree on which universe is which. While Morbius' and Madame Web's marketing relied on making you believe you'd see Spider-Man in some form, it's just terrible to trick your audiences like that. They could certainly limit what Sony productions can reference the same way MS has limits on what characters they can use.
Tbh, while some fans may complain about the confusing direction Phase 4 had, it is a masterpiece compared to Sony' roadmap.
While it could be interesting to see Peter tackling organized crime bc of Peter learning that Uncle Ben's killer was tied to Fisk in some way, ...
As mentioned by others, it's kind of revisiting a thread that hasn't been as important to this iteration. I'd much rather see Peter deal with facing Mr. Negative tarnish F.E.A.S.T. and its connections to May, rather than find ways to connect Fisk to the Spider-Man corner of the universe.
Had Sentry not been already in the MCU I could see him playing them. The first bc I envision Sentry as middle aged, rather than young looking, and because it works well as a nod to him almost being Superman, and he can go from 0 to a 100, which is how I'd like to see Sentry become The Void.
Other options are, as mentioned above, Silvermane, the MCU's version of Morbius (we've seen him play Dracula, so why not another vampire?), and Judas Traveller as the wildcard option.
I kept it mostly to Spider-Man since he definetly has the kind of energy prime to be a supervillain in his world.
Considering the amounts of information stored on Wenwu's compound, we shouldn't discard him being aware of K'un-L'un at least.
As for them meeting, I'd feel like they have an useasy truce, i.e., they know of each other, and know their operations, but they don't interfere on their businesses.
They should just reuse the subtitle of each rename as an episode title, if they aren't already doing it
If she plays Alicia, then that would be the second time she plays a blind character in Marvel movies, ...huh. Hopefully Malkovich is Puppet Master then.
This kind of feels like an April Fools Prank, but hey, it's finally here
I like the idea of the sweater nodding at the classic suit, and my god, an actual H.E.R.B.I.E.!
Would be really interesting to see if there was an increase in people watching the six shows after they were added to the timeline
If there was any dangling plot threads that deserve to come back, I'm glad Bullseye is the one they chose to bring back.
Wondering if they'll mention the cogmium steel used in his skeleton, and hoping for him to bring his baseball cap to the costume designer.
I was going to say Ant-Man, but then I remembered Ghost.
If we were counting Marvel tv shows, I think AoS never really left villains alive, unless you count lierally erasing a personality alive (Calvin Johnson).
If the rumors are to be believed, an Iron Fist is set to appear in Eyes of Wakanda, so that's closer than you think.
If that were to be Wu Ao Shi that could be a good tie-in to season 2 of Iron Fist.
Mister Fear, Jester and maybe Coyote. I'd also be up for Ikari and Lady Bullseye if there's more Hand related stuff.
Curious that it's been more than a year, and not only have the Netflix series been added to the Disney+ timeline, but Punisher actually came back. Might be time for more Defenders to join Matt?
That's weird. It has yet to happen on mine. Does Echo already have a spot in that timeline as well?
And S.H.I.E.L.D. itself was mentioned as helping in the final battle of Endgame in FaTWS, and well, they are "active" in FFH
And well, if Marvel Comics still do the synnergy thing with Marvel Studios, we might be seeing C&D soon as they've played an important role in the current Gang War event.
