Hasn’t it already been said that WandaVision, AAA, and the upcoming Vision Quest show are all tied together as a trilogy? Which is what I’d assume will eventually lead into a Scarlet Witch movie or at least her return in some format.
Well, as for the double finale, I’m letting it….digest. I don’t hate it, I don’t love it. There were definitely great moments, but there’s some that just really idk, grate on me? Maybe that’s not the right wording.
I don’t think it’s awful, so I don’t want to drag it down, the only things I didn’t partially like were:
• Agatha’s death, it felt somewhat anti-climactic and I personally didn’t want her to die, however with the direction it seems they’re taking her character going forward, it does make sense.
• Joe Locke (oooh I might get hate for this) I just don’t think he’s a good actor, personally.
• Agatha’s ghost wig. Why?
Just wondering if anyone else noticed, but when Lilia and Jen are in the tunnels and Jen hears the Salem Seven coming, aren’t the SS coming from the tunnel that would’ve lead to the castle/diviniation trial? Like they’re actively walking away from the path that would’ve led them to Agatha? But then they obviously attack later in the trial.
What if the SS are deaths omens? Or working for death?
And as for the finale seeming to point to a showdown between Agatha/Billy and Death, I’m kind of on the fence about Death being the “big bad” of the series. I always viewed death as neutral, neither good nor bad, I don’t know how they’re exactly aligned in the comics but I know they’ve had relationships with Thanos and Deadpool so perhaps more “evil” leaning. Either way the show has still been great and I’ve got very high hopes for the 2-part finale.
God that feels like an eternity ago, I genuinely thought it was longer than 4 years. I’m just really hoping we’ll get to see them once more at the very least, and wonder if the holdup is some contractual obligation (even though ABC was owned by Disney, so I don’t see why Disney wouldn’t be allowed to use the characters straight away🤷🏻♀️).
The more I think about it, the more it gives me pause thinking that Val is a Skrull (and she’s the one who helped them kidnap Ross to be impersonated?)
Also, wild theory, imagine if Gravik is Fury + a Skrull woman’s child.
Enjoyable first episode, I’m definitely intrigued.
I was never too “connected” to Hill anyway, so her death doesn’t really effect me. If anything it just opens the door for Daisy to come in as Fury’s second-in-command.
Gravik’s plan doesn’t really make sense to me though. He’s angry because they don’t have a “permanent” home, understandable. But what’s wrong with living in Chernobyl like they’re clearly already doing? We don’t know the exact number of Skrulls but I’m certain they could find places to live on Earth by cohabitating with Humans.
Quake having the longest character page just sits right with me🥸
Call me an ungrateful Marvel fan but the F4 was first teased in SM:FFH (with the 1,2,3,4 billboards right?) and that film came out in 2019, 4 years ago. The film hasn’t even started shooting and we don’t even have a cast yet. It’s weird how Marvel has the backing of a massive company like Disney and yet they still can’t seem to pump out quality content continuously. There’s either story problems, VFX problems or just lack of interest. Like at this rate, when are we getting the X-Men? And I don’t mean previous versions from the Fox universe or variants of those versions, when are we getting fully fledged MCU X-Men? Preferably before I’m in my 40’s please Marvel. I feel like there’s still so much to do, Armor Wars and Blade have both been “in the works” for years yet we have no clue when Armor Wars is being released and Blade doesn’t come out till towards the end of next year if it isn’t delayed between now and then. Echo? Do we really need a whole Disney+ show for her? (That sounds absolutely heartless) but like, couldn’t they have worked her into DD:BA? And had her appear in multiple episodes out of the 18? She probably would’ve had more screen time that way instead of her own 6 episode 30-minute show.
At this point I’m just waiting for Secret Invasion. I need that show to drop now. Especially for the rumour I’ve heard about Ep 6.
[Potential Spoiler? Lol] Edit for F4 casting: I’ve heard rumours about Adam Driver as Reed and Amanda Seyfried as Sue.
I don’t think the movie was as bad as everyone is making it out to be, or at the very least let me phrase it like this: In my opinion, it’s the best of the trilogy.
I can’t be bothered to go into massive detail but I enjoyed it quite a bit personally. Kang and Janet’s moments were great, I would’ve liked more of that. M.O.D.O.K. was obviously gonna be ridiculous and I don’t particularly care if he returns or not but he did give me some pretty good chuckles I’m ngl. Kang was very intimidating to me, but beyond that I don’t know how much depth there is to him. I don’t think he’s dead though tbh (I know the Council of Kangs confirmed it, but I still doubt it). I enjoyed Cassie, but my only problem is basically the costume, I wish she had wings like Hope (even though her suit is basically meant to mimic her Fathers, right?). I sort of wish it’d ended with Hope going back to save Scott and them both getting trapped in there. The shot of Hank walking along the bridge while the ants rush in was pretty 🔥 but besides that we aren’t talking about the “technologically advanced” ants🫣.
Look the movie wasn’t perfect, but it was a pretty good time. More enjoyable than either of the other two Antman films. I’ll definitely be seeing it again.
And finally, “My name is Darren and I deserve a d***” I heard that line right, right?🤣
@Duke of Scales We are still in phase 4, but Marvel has also released the slates for phases 5 & 6 which is why OP is asking.
@Chasemarc I don’t think we have confirmation yet, but like you said with the placement, it’s either going to end phase 5 or start phase 6. I suppose that depends on the story they have for Deadpool 3 and where the best place to put it is, based on the previous film before it and the film coming after it.
Well I imagine you could penetrate Caps shield with a Vibranium spear but you’d need unbelievable strength to do it. Thanos (who we already know is ridiculously strong) broke Caps shield in half with his weapon and I’m pretty sure Thanos’ weapon wasn’t Vibranium, it could’ve potentially been Uru tho (the same metal as Mjolnir) or just another extremely strong alien metal.
@Greater good I thought that at first too, but then it made more sense than the guy is just more attracted to She-Hulk. He didn’t want Jen at all, I guess that’s what the whole online dating scene was trying to emphasise, people weren’t attracted to Jen and they wanted the She-Hulk.
Honestly though, without trying to be too morbid I’m sure that guys going to develop Cancer at the very least😬
So if She-Hulk slept with that guy…he’s dead right? Or at least will be? From all the gamma radiation?
@Danger1109 I’m wondering if it’s Kingpin that wants her blood. We know Daredevil is set to show up at some point, so I’m wondering if that’s the connection. I do watch BeyondTheTrailer on YT and she said her favourite episode was Ep 4, so I’m wondering if that’s the Ep DD shows up.
Also for everyone else, I’ve seen almost everyone complain about how short the episodes are. Do you prefer the shorter 9 episode run or the slightly longer 6 episode run?
@Swatteam123 He specified “Marvel” so if anyone drifts outside of that, then it’s not op’s fault.
Also, the few replies on this post have been fine, there hasn’t been any arguing or tensions. This post is fine atm.
People talking about Cap being honourable just makes me think of Civil War when he dropped the walkway(?) on Spider-Man (who was like 15 at the time right?) like I’ve heard the excuses “Cap knew Spider-Man was strong enough” etc but it just honestly cracks me up. You can’t tell me in the whole multiverse there isn’t an instance where that happens and Spider-Man just literally gets squashed right there😂. Then it’s an actual War with the Avengers just outright murdering each other.
That would make a great What If?… episode. What If?… Cap killed Spider-Man during Civil War.
Full potential with no holding back: Scarlet Witch, Gorr, Captain Marvel, Hulk, Ultron?
@Neutron Lightning I’m glad you mentioned that She-Hulk reverting to Jen affected her metabolism and she was instantly drunk. I’m wondering how that’s going to play in the future of the MCU, for instance if she gets hurt like Bruce and has to revert to Jen, will her injuries kill her since she was forcefully reverted and wouldn’t have the healing factor of a hulk? Or would the Gamma/She-Hulk save her life (like the Hulk has done for Bruce) but that wouldn’t make much sense since she was forcefully reverted? Idk just hypotheticals.
As for the call to Jen from Hulk from Space, I suspect that either has to do with Skrull technology maybe given from the Skrulls/Fury or Kree tech given from Carol so they can communicate over vast distances. Maybe it was just the Sakaaran’s ship with an extra long range transmitter lol.
The way I see it is this: Daredevil got 3 seasons on Netflix, Disney+ has said DD:BA will be 18 episodes long, that (to me) is basically 2 seasons in one. 9 episodes each, rounding Daredevil to 5 seasons total. I think after that they’ll be done with DD in terms of his own show, but I think he’ll still show up in other MCU properties like She-Hulk S2, Echo S1 and 2, maybe a Jessica Jones Disney+ show since there’s been rumours for a while that Feige likes Krysten Ritter as JJ and she’s potentially ripe for a comeback after DD.
@KvngKquan ”hit on it” not “hit it” Jesus💀
