It's times like this that I wish we hadn't banned polls since that would make this so much easier, but now that Season One of Loki is complete, who's your favorite version of Loki from across the various timelines of the MCU so far? It can be the original Loki, it can be the TVA Loki from the Disney+ series, it can be Sylvie, Classic Loki, or whoever! I just want to know which one and why, since I imagine it'll lead to a VERY interesting discussion!
I'll go first: Part of me wants to say Sylvie since I love the Enchantress, and she's so different from the other Lokis we've seen, but I think I gotta go with the main TVA Loki. As far as the comics are concerned, I always liked Ikol more than the original Loki, because he goes through a more interesting character arc, and I think the same can be said here in regards to the original MCU Loki. As much as I loved his character arc and how it ended (Ragnarok and Infinity War are two of my favorite Marvel movies, and two of my favorite films in general), I feel like this new arc TVA Loki is on will result in more interesting stories for the character in the future, or at least interesting stories in a higher quantity than the original gave us. In no way am I devaluing the OG Loki, I just feel like TVA Loki takes him in a direction I'm more eager to see play out, what with all the self-discovery and self-acceptance stuff.
Who's your favorite and why?
